Save your money and time
I tried calibrating this several times against an Omron series 10 monitor -the data from which had given me reliable blood pressure and heart rate data verified at my doctors office. Testing these on MOCA heart immediately after their calibration procedure produced wildly different blood pressure AND heart rate values +/- up to 50% of my readings on the Omron just moments before. Knowing this, why would one trust the pulse wave velocity accuracy ( which is basically meaningless because measurements are reported in their proprietary MOCA index not subject to verification) or for that matter even the precision of the their MOCA index. I am concerned about hardening of the arteries which should impact the pulse wave velocity; I was hoping to see how exercise and medicine might improve the PWV over time. This product does not report PWV in scientific terms so it is impossible to verify at your doctors office. If you have heart issues that you're concerned about -a fortune teller would probably be more trustworthy than this beautifully packaged , elegant form factor design, shiny bright, sham of a device.

Elegantly designed but hit or miss
Its a pretty device but its a hit or miss.App to Device recognition - great for initial use (first power on). However, if you want to do another reading either for yourself or a family member, it won’t recognize the device as still turned on. You have to turn off the device, more to a diff screen in the app and move back to device screen in the app and then turn on the device - then the app will recognize it as turned on.Reading - takes 25 seconds and if it cant get a reading it will restart the 25 seconds and if it can’t get the reading again, you have to restart (turn off and on- as noted above). Sometimes its read successfully at first try and sometimes it doesn’t. Had it for 3 months now and I still cannot figure out why it works and why it doesn’t -“lightly place your thumb” its says but again its hit or miss.Note: This review is updated based on the 2nd device they sent me because I though the first device was just faulty but the 2nd device have the same above issues.

Useful addition to my fitness monitoring devices.
The MOCAheart offers a nice concept. Initially it will not pair with my Samsung S7 Edge. I installed the Android app, and while setting up the account, the app would constantly crash and would not let me change the gender to Male. But it didn't matter because I could not pair the two devices. I thought of trying to pair with my iPad only to find that there is no iPad app. However, I was able to install the iPhone app on the iPad and it paired with out problems. I also installed the app on an Android 5 device. The MOCAheart worked perfectly with that device as well.Using the iPad and the Android 5 device, the device worked well and gave consistent readings that compared with a Pulse Oximeter that I have. With assistance from helpful MOCAheart support, I was able to get the device to work with my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, though the connectivity occasionally requires disabling and enabling Bluetooth on my phone. The interface is fine with the iPad and Android 5 device.I believe the MOCAheart has the potential of being a useful device, and I will rate it 5 stars when it works as well with Android 6 as it does with the iPad and Android 5 tablet.

Reliable PWV to augment the now crippled Nokia scale.
With the recent subtraction of the Pulse Wave Velocity on the Nokia Body Cardio scale (one of the reason I bought the dang thing) I was on the lookout for another device that would give me PWV. I tried the iHeart but it was sporadic with the values and not very reliable that I could tell. The MOCAHeart seem to be spot on with the readings I was getting with the Nokia scale. Granted the MOCA does not give you the actual PWV in milliseconds, it does give you a MOCA scale that is inline with normal or above normal readings in ms. With the scale, I was middle normal (~8ms) and with the MOCA I am middle normal 2.5. So that works well I think. I believe the negative reviews may have come from when the device was marketed as blood pressure device, but they took that part out of the app and stuck with Heart Rate, SPO2 and PWV. Good thing as in my experience with other devices that operated and stated the same...they sucked at BP. Stick with the cuff or wrist ones for that. Soooo...SPO2, HR and PWV are accurate to me using slight pressure with each thumb on the device. (The help section states to use the same amount of downward pressure that you would exert you would use while doing a swipe gesture on a phone. I have the iPhone X + Apple Watch and haven’t had any issues with the app or device. Thumbs up for just being able to put thumbs down to get a good PWV indicator.

App won't communicate with Samsung 6 edge for bluetooth connection ...
App won't communicate with Samsung 6 edge for bluetooth connection. The first Amazon review in February said the Android version is coming soon. When will it arrive?Response was immediate to fix the connection from the COO and tech people over Memorial weekend. Upgrade to 4 stars.

Six months in, I am buying a different one
I got this early in the Covid era. It was an important part of my doctor monitoring my health from afar. After six months I am replacing it.1) Too many times it is incapable of taking a reading (so it says) and has me test a second time...or third time...or fourth time.2) always asks me to "calibrate" it - which sounds like a good thing...but it requires an additional BP cuff that I don't have.I am not willing to depend on this for the upcoming flu/cold/covid season.

The device is really small and easy to carry
I was pleasantly surprised, as this didn't have any Amazon reviews when I purchased it. The device is really small and easy to carry. I attached it to my key chain and use it once a day which is a huge change for me. Since I work and travel a lot I never got to monitor my health. The app is super friendly and easy to navigate. I am planning to purchase one for my father

Disappointing & expensive
many of my faults found have already been mentioned but for me the most profound and fundamental reason for NOT buying Mocaheart is that i do not really understand what it is trying to do in measuring my heart health. i can get my own heart beat in seconds. but the other 2 are lost on me. this product has a long way to go to be effective in diagnosing heart health and for that reason i strongly suggest you don't waste your money at this stage. interestingly you pay a lot of money and it seems quite a bit goes on packaging which is pretty neat. but do you want that ??

Great Little Device for PWV and Blood Oxygen Tracking on The Move
Great little product, easily fits into wallet, chargeable battery lasts a week or more, clear and simple to use. Doesn't always connect to phone app on first switch on, but switching off and on again normally does it. Only wish is that they used / displayed metres per second metrics for Pulse Wave Velocity measurement same as Withings Body Cardio smart scale and better integration / data sharing with Apple Health & Withings HealthMate app - but overall a good, reliable and neat device for tracking PWV and Blood Oxygen when travelling
