I ordered these logs because they were bigger than most. My lava rock bed gas fire pit is over 2 ft in diameter. I thought the logs were a bit pricey, but I went for it. Wow! These things are great! First of all, they are very light weight. They almost feel fragile because of the light weight. There are 5 styles of logs, 2 per, for a total of 10 logs. You can stack them up however you want. When seen in the day, let's face it, they look like fake logs. There is just no way around it. But at night, that is when the magic happens. When I light the burner, the flames are pure blue and you think, OK, that looks nice. Nothing special. Wait...after about 10 minutes of warm up, the logs glow a beautiful orange on the bottom and the flames turn yellow. After 20 minutes, the logs are fully warmed up and it really looks like a real campfire burning! Without the smoke! I have had several folks over for an evening on the new patio and they all comment about how realistic looking the fire is. Love these logs and would buy them again! Worth every penny.

Due to the high fire danger in California, we had to replace our wood burning fire pit with a propane fire pit. While the propane fire pit is nice, it just didn't feel like a real fire. I was looking for ceramic logs to add to the fire pit and after searching several options, this set appealed to me due to the fact that it had separate logs you could arrange in any configuration. I got the logs several days ago and am totally satisfied. They are lightweight and easy to arrange on the firepit, and when the flames are on it looks like a real fire! The logs also retain heat, and although not as hot as a real fire, you get the warmth that was not happening with just the propane jets. I highly recommend this log set if you're looking for a way to transform your gas/propane fire pit into something that feels more like a real fire.

These ceramic logs are just as described - a plus. Comparing price with others they are less expensive. Well protected in shipping, they arrived unbroken. Nice appearance. I think I will be pleased with the product after I learn about proper placement to achieve my desired "roaring fire" look. Thus the learning experience. I have only had the logs a few days and my work is still in progress - wish me luck or better yet send suggestions. Thanks

We decided to switch from wood to gas this year. Wood is great, but tired of always fighting with the arrangement, hauling in wood, and having to order and store wood for burning. We wanted a decent sized arrangement, without spending a fortune, and "wood" look nice and natural. This met all our criteria.First, make sure you have a proper setup with the burner, sand, and ember. We actually did our own setup using an old aluminum cooking pan for a pan, as the gas setup was what came with the house when we bought it. The most difficult taks was finding the right setup to look like a real fire. This means stacking, re-stacking, and stacking again. I might think this is an issue, but this is a one and done, not like a real wood fire which means constant care and feeding throughout the evening.All I can say, is it was worth the investment.Pros:1. Arrived nicely packed, as advertise, without any broken pieces2. An assortment of large and small pieces3. Seems to be holding up with almost daily use, and we've been using well over a month4. Update: The logs are letting off more debris than what I would assume a gas log should. Also the logs are turning black. I just wonder how long they will last now that the debris is falling off with each use. As shown in the third photo. The first two photos are before the third is after a week of use.Awesome value for the money. It has no smell despite what other reviews said. I’m very sensitive to smells and only use natural homemade cleaners and natural shampoos non scented. Super easy to install and use within 5 minutes of unpacking. Super natural looking

First of all, I did not burn the logs, so I cannot rate warmth. Since this was an “Amazon’s Choice”, I did not take time to read the reviews....my mistake. I was trying to replace a few of my existing logs that are showing some wear. But when the new logs arrived, I was surprised at how light they were, how I unfinished and squared off some of the sides were and frankly, I thought they looked somewhat cheap. The color did not go well with my existing logs and I found I didn’t like the charred look. Then when I did read the reviews, I saw several references to a “smell” - not only when they were first lit, but ongoing. We have a rather small living room but use our fireplace a lot and I am very sensitive to any odors. So I showed them to my husband and he was not overly impressed with them either. Since I had only unpacked one log, I just put it back in the box and returned them. I think we will have to stick with a local retailer where we can “touch and feel” the product. It does look like many other vendors are selling this exact same set of 10. Maybe this is where gas logs are heading, but we don’t like them... yet.

I purchased these Natural Glo Large Gas Fireplace Logs (10 Piece) and I could not be happier.They are absolutely perfect for a fire anytime of the year.I did look at the instructions on how to place the logs but decided to try my own style and it is beautiful.The logs are very light weight and easy to maneuver in any position. I love the style of the logs from large, medium and small.My family and I are completely delighted with the purchase.Great value!!!As a side note:To those customers whom have made negative reviews based on the following; "they started turning black and emiting soot particles." That is perfectly natural for ceramic logs as you are using gas.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
