Brilliant Steam Generator Iron
Best Steam Generator Iron I ever used. Great quality, superbly built. Heats up really quickly. Fantastic price for a Steam Generator Iron. Great pity you cannot buy this item any more.

Excellent iron. Easy to use.
Easy to fill. Put together . I use spring still water in mine so helps keep the filter longer. Does get a bit of getting used to using though but you hardly need any pressure when ironing. Iron is quite heavy well for me due to Rhuematoid Arthritis in wrists. But it's manageable.Tank holds enough water to iron 4 wash loads probably couple more as I still had fair amount of water left, which I poured back into bottle. Pour into jug first makes it easier to pour back into bottle. The pump action doesn't take long to kick in but sometimes you'll need to prime again. If left for couple of mins. Works well for steaming anything you've got hung up as well . I'm very impressed over all. I'd recommend this iron to any of my friends and family. Reasonably priced as well. You do have to get used to holding steam button in but it's nicely situated so no problems. Stores easily. Cord storage as well. If you've a bug enough ironing board with large size plate for iron it fits on mine beautifully. And enough cord to plug into socket easily. Although my ironing board has a socket attached and lead to wall socket. So I've a choice. But if your ironing board iron plate is normal size I'd put the iron on work top by side of iron. As needs to sit firmly flat.

Powerful steam generator - Great value for money
This was an excellent purchase for a replacement steam generator. The steam instantly cuts off when you release your hand which is great which my last steam generator wouldn’t do and would take a few seconds to cut out. Only negative I would say is that I think it’s been designed wrong with power and steam cable the wrong way round on the iron. You run the risk as I found out of the iron falling off your counter because the steam cable when stretched pulls the power cable so the whole unit moves with your arm actioned whilst ironing. Simple fix though, is wrap the power cable around the front of the iron and the steam cable will not come into contact with the other power cable therefore less chance of it pulling the unit. Other than that, so far so good and it’s half the price of what I’ve paid for steam generators before and does the same. Which recommended best buy too if on a budget.

No three
Over the years this is the third one I have had, when things have gone wrong they have been cheep enough to replace.I have been very pleased with the performance and I like the relative lightness. My first one needed a de scale and I was stupid enough to follow an on line tip and fill it with coke and steam it threw, the iron was completely ruined. The second could have been fixed but it was quicker to just get a new one,I didn't hesitate to order the same model as I like its performance and light weight.

Love my swan iron so easy to use and does a brilliant job
My first swan iron which I am still using has a lovely carrying handle, did look to see if there was still one on the market before I bought but I couldn’t find one so as I really wanted a swan choose this one and not disappointed.

Waste of money, brown/black gunk everywhere!
I read alot of reviews before purchasing in Jan 2022. I have hardly used the item (consumed by needy child) I use deionised water, ensure its clean (its pristine) but everytime I use it it sprays brown and/or black stuff out of it. Forever having to clean it, try different things, followed the manual to troubleshoot my issues. Still no luck. Replaced the ironing board cover several times and chucked out towels and clothes as cannot get the stuff out. Every and any solution suggested has made no improvement. For a 'heavy' duty iron I'm so disappointed with the few items that have managed a part iron before being covered in crap. Too much hassle for the price so requested a refund.

You pay for what you get.
Have to try and be objective here as I already own a much bigger MUCH more expensive steam generator iron that I absolutely love! I have quite a history with irons, I had bought expensive irons and I had bought cheap ones trying to find the perfect one and seemed to go through them quite quickly. So finding myself in a rented flat for a while I was having to buy a new iron and board. Having experienced my steam generator, I really wanted to have another one, but of course I couldnt justify spending a lot of money on an iron for a rented flat. This one seemed to have good reports and was at an extremely good price. It came well packed and on time. On taking it out of the box the first thing that struck me was that it was much lighted that my other one. However, it does not seem cheap and plastic. I followed instructions which are easy to follow and fired it up. You have to hold the iron below the generator at first to get the correct flow of steam. I tentatively started to iron. It doesn't seem to generate as much steam as I would have liked and the steam output does seem to be a bit intermittent. However I wanted to give it time and I think I am getting the hang of using it now (having used it several times and find that it is certainly better than the old hand irons I use to have and it does seem to iron both sides of things like tshirts etc.The water tank also seems to hold enough water for a generous ironing session. I find I do have to go over some creases several more times than my other one, but this could also be that I am using a washer dryer which I am also getting the hang of and if honest really don't like (it seems to create more creases than my independent dryer at home) All in all I am pleased enough with it not to return it, but it is definitely a question of you pay for what you get. I would say if you can afford it go for a more expensive one but if not then this steam generator is ok.
