Affordable, Comfortable, Sharp.
Very nice. Right out of the box I went in to a chunk of cherry burl. It went throw it like Bass wood. Very happy

Excellent feel and high quality edges in a gouge set that covers all of the basics
These are a very high quality set of basic gouges for hand-carving and decorating wood projects. Very comfortable in the hand, precision-sharpened edges that hold their sharpness, built to last a lifetime.

High quality tools
Excellent whittling set, not quite as sharp as I expected but fine when sharpened

Top quality product
I'm just staring out with woodworking, specifically with guitars and these tools work great for someone just getting into the craft. Great craftsmanship and nice and sharp.

Bang for your buck.
Great little set came incredibly sharp quality material. I would definitely buy this again. If you’re new to carving, you can’t go wrong with this kit.

good variety set, nice to try different styles
Great set to get an example of each style. I mostly use the gouges and bowl knife. spoons are so easy with the curved knife. Came sharp enough to start with, didn't sharpen until after a bit of use.

Tools are not sharp
Tools are not sharp so be prepared to sharpen them before you use them.

Nice tools, with a humerous twist
These are decent tools, very sharp, handle fits hand well, at least my hand. Got a chuckle out of them including a band-aid along with caution about being sharp! Old carver wisdom goes like “it’s always easier to cut yourself with a dull tool”.

Decent quality for the money.
Good quality. Needed a good stropping but sharpened enough for me to take it the rest of the way. Seemingly decent steel.... So far, so good.

Sgorbie impeccabili
