There are a lot of empty mascara tubes on Amazon and it was hard to pick the one that was going to do the job. I'm so glad I picked this one because it works wonderfully. I use it for my concoction of Castor Oil, Aloe, and Vitamin D. Adding the fluids by hand was quite easy for me and did not spill over, however, a funnel and transfer pipettes are also included to make it easier if needed. After adding fluids, be sure to insert the included stoppers BEFORE inserting the wand into the tube. I just spaced out and did not do it in the proper sequence and made a huge mess. After adding my liquids, I set both tubes on its' side on tissue paper overnight to see if it would leak. I was SO happy to discover 2-3 days later, it still did not. What a relief.I use one tube daily and have one tube in my travel bag. When I went to Tahoe, I did notice it leaked. I think it could be a change in the elevation which makes me think I should be careful when going on an airplane. I DO NOT BLAME THE PRODUCT for leaking when that occurs with ALL sealed products when there is a change in air pressure.Fast forward a few weeks, one tube is still perfect to this day. The second (the one that leaked in Tahoe) ended up having a few issues. The issues I had with it was 1) the stopper started coming out of the tube when I pulled the wand out like it was a bit too small. I contacted the seller and they were QUICK to respond and let me know that they are working on it with their supplier to correct this issue and they had already put two new stoppers in the mail. When I received the stoppers, I could tell they were much more snug and I would no longer be having that problem.The second issue I had was that the black piece that I use to hold the wand with would separate from the brush itself. It is actually two pieces. This only happened to the one that was having the stopper problem. Surprisingly, this issue was resolved when I put the new thicker stopper into the tube. Maybe because of all the oil getting everywhere loosened (oiled up) the connection between the brush and plastic piece? I can't be sure, but what I know is it's no longer happening and has resolved itself.Sidenote about the stopper, it is an absolutely essential piece of the product because without it, the tube not only leak, the wand will have excessive amounts of your product when applying. You will be literally dripping of product if you do not have a good stopper.The tubes are made of a thick durable plastic and as answered in the Q&A on the product, it is BPA free. Fantastic for those who care about that like I do. In addition, there is a green triangle tool that, when explained to me by the seller, is "for getting (tight fitting) stoppers out of the tube. The half circles can be wedged between the lip of the tube and the edge of the stopper (or you can just use your fingernails). Some customers use the cut out circles in the center for stabling their funnels on top of the tubes. I use the funnels with or without the green triangle. I find either method is equally successful."I was very impressed with the Customer Service and that alone gave me comfort in knowing I had purchased the right mascara tube. They stand behind their product and made it right when I had an issue. I am happy with both tubes and do not have any issues with either one of them today. I would skip the other Empty Mascara Tubes on Amazon because even though they offer more tubes, its just a waste if its a piece of junk. This order comes with two tubes and accessories that make it easy to use and are a QUALITY product. As I hope I've explained in this review, it is essential to have the stopper fit properly. For me, it was the cause and solution to my problems. I would buy this again from this seller in a heartbeat.

5/31/16 up-date: as soon as I wrote my two star review about not receiving the inserts for the tubes that scrape off excess product...I heard from the company. They were so sorry about what happened they sent me a new set (with the inserts) and a free bottle of their organic Caster Oil (which I really like). This shows the company cares about their product and the customers that put their trust in the quality of their product. This above all else shows me that Elaia Beauty Solutions is determined to put out a high quality product and stands behind that product 100%. I appreciate that and will highly recommend the purchase of these tubes. They hold a good amount (no refilling every time you turn around) and are see through so you know exactly where you are at all the time. The brushes are a very nice size and length. I use the brush on my brows, lashes and hair line. Perfect! Great price too! No reason not to give these a try!!!!Original review: Disappointed. I couldn't wait to get these and was very happy when they arrived. These seem like they would be a great find had they come with the insert for the top as shown. I did not get the inserts that scrape product off the brush as it comes out of the tube for application. Without that it's just a mess to use. Real bad bummer drag. I’m not exactly sure what the green piece is for, I haven’t used it because I don’t really think it helps much. As far as the tubes, the top screws on nice and tightly. I put a mix of castor oil and vitamin E oil in the tube and I had no leakage (don’t forget to put the black stopper In AFTER you fill your tube). I wish I could easily take the black stopper out I clean the tube and reuse it but it’s not that easy. It seems that once it’s in, it’s in there.

After reading MULTIPLE reviews, I dubiously bought these wands and bottles. I mean, they are not expensive. And well hey! Amazon’s return policy, anyone?NO problem filling the tube with castor oil. NO problem with leakage. NO problem with anything!It is correct that you may not think you’re getting much oil on the wand, and therefore, on your brows and lashes. NOT TRUE.I put on the oil, and thought, “Really?!?!?” Then I rubbed my finger over the product. There was PLENTY. It just wasn’t dripping and running everywhere. And with just enough, not only do I not have oil marks on my pillowcase... my brows and lashes are growing in; this, after just two weeks of use.I’m very happy with these tubes/wands, and WILL buy them again. I’d expect that to be in about 3-4 months. I plan to use a tube and then toss it for my own personal sanitation preferences.I think, in my many years of being an Amazon customer, I’ve written one, maybe 2 other reviews. Many great products, but no need to tell people about it. I hope you are just as pleased with your purchase here as I am.

I bought this to fill with castor oil and to apply to my eyebrows. The lid to one of the tubes cracked one day after I filled the tube. It leaks constantly. Luckily, there are two in a package. So I'm wondering if/when the second tube will crack.UPDATE: The other tube is still okay, but the current broken tube broke a little more. Now the rubber tip that goes on the tube where you slide the wand through is broken and won't stay on. It made a big mess. This product is absolute junk.2nd UPDATE: The other tube is not broken, but the stopper where the wand pulls through will NOT stay inside the tube. It took me by surprise and then castor oil spilled all over my table because the stopper got stuck inside the wand housing. Seriously, I do not recommend this at all. This product is awful. I'd return, but I'm past the return window.
