Strap to shoulder for comfot and safety in transporting large birds. Includes dropping bag

Awesome!
I bought for my job at a local pet sore, we sold many sizes or birds and their talons were always digging into my shoulder and leaving tiny indents! It works. The blue crap-catcher cape thing is useful, when you wear it though it looks somewhat dumb, but it does work from getting bird crap from getting on your back, you can take it off though. There's not much else to be said about this, other than the only flaw is that it isn't indestructible, but pretty much nothing is for these big birds....A little expensive but it definately does its job. Might have to replace it after awhile, but considering how many birds sit on my shoulder each day, it will be worth it.

Uncomfortable to wear
No matter how I adjusted the straps, this was not comfortable when tight enough to support our macaw. The droppings pouch is ridiculously large and disturbing so I unsnapped and removed it. The thin leather straps are attractive to birds and are easily chewed through. The gripping area for the bird to stand on is very smooth leather not offering traction of foothold. It is not sized or positioned to protect the neck area of the shoulder which is not covered by most human shirts and is particularly vulnerable to being scratched by bird talons. I have replaced this useless item with a towel thrown over my shoulder.

Bird owners probably all need one
Just tried on on and had my sun conures on it to see how it works. The sun conures were able to move around without a problem and able to stood in any position as they like, because the holes on the leather pad functioned as hooking spot.Size is more like for small size birds, but medium birds are also okay.Recommend to all bird owners.

Not necessary
I was thinking that it would work for the parrot but it is alittle loose and makes her feels a little insecure. Wasn't a necessary purchase but can be used for long shoulder sitting. Fine quality. Saves your shoulder if they really clamp on.

It is supposed to be practical !
I liked the idea and have been thinking to make one myself. But for some reason both my African Grey parrots are afraid of that. I got sort of fake leather costume for other things that only covers the shoulders and they are more comfortable with. The idea is very nice but y parrots simply decided to be scared of it.
