Not fit for purpose
There are a few issues wrong with this particular unit. Firstly the photographs suggest that there is a three point switch on the back which moves between 4 6 & 8 this is not the case secondly it states that it is universal but it will not give a appropriate read for a four-cylinder diesel. I reported this when I first received the item and raised my concerns I was ignored. I tried three times which is more than required by law and have had still no response. It’s been several months since my initial purchase and receive of the item and I am now stuck with a product that does not do the job it is intended for and has intermittent faults. This item is about £7 more expensive than other online stores for the exact same brand , this does not equate to better quality shop elsewhere would be advised

Product came with a loose connection on the plug and is unusable.

The egt gauge is faulty, needle is stuck at 800°c

Exhaust Gas Temp Kit - Didn't work 😕
Finally got around to fitting the EGT I bought back in Feb to my old VW T3 diesel, and the EGT gauge / probe simply doesnt register any temperature.Or of course my 34 Yr old diesel is running with less than 300degrees EGT ! (expecting to see 600 - 800 degrees)Oh well lesson learnt buy cheap buy twice 😞

Faulty oil pressure gauge
Gauge read 10psi without being installed. Should not have passed quality control. Returned.
