This is an amazing ring light. It comes with a tripod and an adjustable holder so you can place your phone within the middle of the ring light. I find it really useful when using a self timer to take photos. The light is also adjustable, not only for brightness but actually different tones of light. Some of which are very bright and also a warmer effect. There are 10 different levels of brightness to choose from. The tripod is also 180 degrees adjustable so you can take photos from different angles. The ring light plugs into a USB charging port to turn on and the remote switch on the USB lead allows you to make the ch to the brightness and different light colours. Highly recommended. I love it.

I recently bought this ring light for when I take pictures of my skin to monitor it, as I have rosacea but due to Covid am unable to visit the doctors, and have to send photos of my skin regularly. I’ve seen celebrities using these lights, but had never thought to try one until recently. I was very pleased when my parcel arrived. Next day delivery from Amazon Prime. I was very eager to set the light up and try it out straight away. Everything in the box is well packaged. I set the ring up following the instructions. These are very clear and have diagrams to show you what to do, which were easy to follow. I chose this particular light as it has a selfie remote control so thought it would be easier to use, which it was. In the instructions it says about inserting a battery into the remote, but there is already a battery in it. Really easy to connect to my phone’s Bluetooth following the instructions. You do need a power supply, so I just plugged the USB into my iPhone plug to give the ring power. There are 10 levels of brightness on the light that can be adjusted by the control on the cable. There are also 3 different colour temperatures. Personally I prefer the natural light option. I am extremely impressed with this light and would definitely recommend it.

The Ring Light was easy to set up out of the box. The tripod features rubber tips on the ends of the legs and feels sturdy enough for the purpose. The unit is not height adjustable; you can bring the legs closer together to raise the ring about 4" but I recommend instead raising the platform in which you set it on. The tripod has a 12" square footprint. The distance from the bottom of the legs to the center of the ring is about 11.5". The ring light features an adjustable gooseneck with clamp. My phone has a power button centered on the side so I had to clamp it off-center, however, with the adjustable gooseneck I was able to center the phone in the middle of the ring. I could not get the phone to set flush with the ring and it protruded about 1.5" in front of it but this had no adverse effects on the image it captures.The Ring Light has a 76" lead with a USB Type A connector for power, and the hand controls are set about midway. The ring which houses the LEDs is plastic and durable. There seem to be 2 rings of LEDs inside the plastic housing which give 3 options of lighting: 1 ring is a cool blue, the other a warm yellow, and the third option uses both LED lights to produce a natural white. I found the larger diameter of this ring light to produce a natural lighting effect with fuller and smoother coverage than a smaller sized ring and helped to produce an image with more clarity than ambient lighting alone. I did not detect any flicker of the lights when filming from my phone. My phone instant recognized and connected to the Bluetooth remote control. I found there is a <1 second delay between pressing the button on the remote and the photo capture.The comparison photo attached is a cropped image with the unit set at about arm’s length and the LEDs on max setting. At the time of this review this ring light was priced similarly or below other ring lights of smaller diameter so I would say it is a great deal and a choice buy.

All the other ring lights cost 5 to 8 times more than this, due to this my expectations were low, but well, I was wrong, this item blown my expectations!This is by far the best price/quality ratio, I paid £10 something that I would easily have paid £60, and it works well, if not better than the more pricier alternatives.The item is a bit larger than expected (but not as large as a full-blown ring light) and surprisingly does a very good amount of light.It also comes with a phone stand (it does not support full-size cameras) and a tripod, that is quite sturdy.The power is provided through a USB connector (adapter not included), this is very good as you can either use it at home with an adapter or plug it into a USB power bank to use it anywhere.There is as well a remote included, this connects via Bluetooth and allows you to shoot pictures remotely on your phone. It's not clear to me why there are two separate buttons for Android and iOS, but it works and it works pretty good.Overall, this product is a must-have. The quality, compared to a price so low it's just shocking. If you are uncertain about buying this don't think twice!

This Selfie light is better than expected. The 12.8" led ring is very bright and is fantastic for instagram, facebook or even just for video calling friends and family.There are 3 colour modes giving a different style to the picture being taken. (Note i prefer the white light as it gives a professional look and set up right can produce some very clear headshots).To use the holder, turn on the blutooth remote, slide you phone into the holder (which is fairly easy) and put on front facing camera. Then it is as simple as aligning yourself in the camera and clicking the button on the remote.The stand works best if you keep the legs evenly spread. and on a hard serfice for stability.Both the stand and phone holder are easy detachable by simply unscrewing. As a result you can use this as a normal backlight for filming so it is therefore multi functional!5 Stars would definetly recommend for the price.
