Only stay lit for a few hours and cannot replace the battery
These Micandles give off a nicer yellow light than the pumpkin-orange lit Weanas candles I bought here on Amazon and these are a little narrower. Unfortunately, as with the Weanas ones, the light only lasts a few hours even with over 6 hours of direct sun. The reason is the rechargable battery capacity is only 300mAh.While I was able to replace the rechargeable battery on the Weanus ones with a higher capacity 1100 mAh battery so they stay lit from dusk til dawn, the Micandle battery is not easily replaceable - the battery is soldered to the wires. So not only will these only stay lit for a few hours, but you will have to throw out the whole candle in a few years when the battery life ends.Also, all of these solar votive candles are not really waterproof (no matter what they say), so I needed to silicone caulk around all the edges. However, I could live with having to waterproof these if the batteries were better or at least replaceable.

It's Okay
Like some others are saying, only 4 of 6 of mine worked.They stay lit for only for a couple of hours; I'm not sure if that's standard or what but I was hoping for longer like 6 hours...

Cool concept, bad execution.
Re-writing my review. I love these IN THEORY. But the charge is weak at best. They only stay on for a few hours after being in the sun all day long.

We have these in fixtures on our porch, and it's nice to have them come on automatically and resemble candles. The light is more orange hued than what the image shows, though.

Excellent! Several months in
Excellent!Several months in, so far it has been fantastic! Great for the environment (solar power), safe for your house (no fire), light on your wallet (no battery purchases) and lastly no action needed (leave it in the path of the sun (balcony/patio/window) and forget about it!). As long as it is outdoors and gets enough solar energy, it will automatically turn on at night for a good 4-5 hours, and remains off while recharging back up during the day. Can't get better than that! Obviously if you need to use it for indoor events, than you need to make sure there is not much light in the area otherwise the sensor will not turn the light on. There is a manual on and off switch, however it is only for charging and display in the dark, not for manually keeping it on, in already lit areas.

Terrible!
I am VERY disappointed in these. Out of two boxes of six, after a full day of charging in bright light, only one of the twelve light up, and that one goes out as soon as you place it on a hard surface!I want to return these!!! Waste of money

I love them! Just set them "on" & that's it. Completely soloar charged/powered.
They're awesome! I just leave them "on" all the time. The "off" switch is great if you want to hold the charge instead of them being on while in a bag or when not wanted for some reason. They charge throughout the day & as soon as the lights dim down then the "candles" come on. It doesn't have to be completely dark for them to come on either. They flicker & look like actual candles. After I bought 1 pack then I purchased another 2 more.
