Perfect For Thinkpad T480
There are very few SSDs compatible with the open nvme slot on the thinkpas T480. This SSD was plug and play. Wish their was a larger capacity that was compatible but it is what it is. Its a work dedicated laptop so ots not like I'm going to load it up. Total of 1tb of storage for a work T480 is plenty.

It works on Elitebook 845G8 WWAN slot as bootable drive
The Mvne drive works on my Elitebook 845 G8 WWAN slot as second bootable drive. Speed seems to be fast as expected. No issues.

Nice little drive for WWAN ports on old-ish laptops
Just picked one of the NE-2242 256GB drives for a Dell E7470 WWAN port, and it worked just fine for an unsupported dual boot install of Win11 (and a not long for this world Win10). The E7470 is a nice, well built laptop only held back from Win11 because of the 6th gen processor, so adding this drive and giving it an unsupported install may give it an extended life. It can be used as a boot drive on this machine in this configuration. It is no speed demon, but it's faster than the stock SATA drive the laptop comes with and is just fine for day to day office use.The B+M keying combined with NVMe on this drive is relatively rare. There are other wonky solutions with adapters, but for only a few extra bucks over those solutions, this is the way to go to use on those often open B-Keyed WWAN ports. Do a few minutes of research on your specific laptop to make sure this will work, however, as capabilities and formats of the "WWAN" port are not standardized.I use the BIOS to switch between booting off the two drives. Other than some Bitlocker issues that were easily addressed, it's been just fine. If you have an E7470 and are pursuing this path, don't forget that there is a firmware upgrade to TPM 2.0 that is available on the Dell site that you should run before installing Win11.Updates: After doing some research, it looks like this drive is based on a Silicon Motion 2263XT controller, which is fine older tech (circa 2017/18) in line with its capabilities. The SM site says it supports x4, but that may not be implemented here. It is a DRAM-less drive, which works for low speed/low end applications, but it will never compete with more modern or with high end drives. Also, the LED on the E7470 doesn't seem to respond to drive usage--no surprise given the WWAN port usage.

It's compatible with Lenovo P52S as well as bootable from 2nd NVME slot
1TB works on P52S, download Windows 11 recovery USB image from Lenovo. 90min later, Win 11 was installed. If you are trying to upgrade in the internal M2 SSD drive is not worth it. I broke the "connector" like 50% of the ppl trying to go with the "easy" route. Going to the 2nd slot is the way to go.

Worked great… until it didn’t
I purchased this (m2 nvme 2242 B&M Key 256gb) to be my OS drive in a Lenovo T480 laptop, so I could have a separate HDD for storage. It worked great from day one (Aug 2022). Today, July 1, 2024, it crashed. Dead. I’ve run several diagnostics. I anm 100%certain the drive is the failure point. I’ve followed the sellers troubleshooting guide with no success. The drive is dead. It’s supposed to be rated for “1 million hours” I did not get anywhere near a fraction of this. It was solely used to run windows 11 for basic household budgeting, online shopping, email and family photo organization. No gaming or other heavy use at all. I’m very disappointed, but hopeful the seller will reach out to make it right. We will see.The seller contacted me regarding my experience. They verified the troubleshooting steps I took to confirm the drive failed. They offered me a replacement or full refund. I had already replaced the drive, so I opted for a refund, which was executed immediately. I’m satisfied they did the right thing, even 2 years after purchase. I’ll also note I originally purchased two for the same setup in two separate laptops. The other one is still good. Also, the replacement I purchased was the same unit and is functioning fine. Overall, it’s a good solution. I just got a bad unit, which was mitigated by good customer service.

Second Hard Drive for HP Elitebook 845 G8
I specifically got this to be used as a second SSD in the WWAN slot on my HP Elitebook 845 G8. After install, had to initialize SSD and create a new volume and a drive letter, and everything worked as expected as a second drive. Only issue was that the machine wouldn't wake up from sleep and required a power cycle by pressing down the power button (previously, I was able to hit a key on the keyboard to come out of sleep). For this, I had to Google a lot, and after many trials/driver update/setting experiement, I got it to work as before (go to sleep the night before; wake up the next morning with a key stroke).

Decent read speed, poor write speed
It appears quite a good choice from a capacity and price perspective, but suffers from reduced extended write speeds.
