Stay This Way Forever

After watching a tv interview of Author Linsey Davis, I ordered a copy of this precious book.I am a new mom and reading this to my 2.5 year old was tough, because I had to fight back tears several times. The way this was written definitely captures how a parent feels for their little one(s). We wish they could stay the way that they are forever in their innocence and every cute and funny thing they do, but we also want them to grow up to be amazing.I love this book and the illustrations were a perfect pair!

This is the most delightful book which made me feel like I wish it had been available when I was having children! I am having a hard time deciding whether to keep this first order for my self or to use it as a newborn present for baby showers and baby gifts. Unfortunately even my grandchildren are to old to have them sit on my lap and read them this book. I am thinking I will just pick up this first book when I want to remember what it was like raising my own and my grand children. Thank you for writing such a beautiful book!

I heard a review of this book watching one of the news shows. When I heard the title it tugged at my heart. I am a grandmother who loves being a grandma and I love being a Mom as well. This book is beautifully written and a loving mother’s heartbeat. It is a reminder to seize each day with your child.

I’m a mother of 6 children plus oneFive adopted four of them are Inter Racial two are white our plus one is also inter racialAll different shades of skin color . I’m a white mother skin color in our family has never been seen as anything more then hair color or eye color in the books we read . But it should have been we should all see ourselves. This book is a beautiful parent to child story the illustrations are amazing and seeing a book of children of color in all the shades has made me realize what our family was missing . I have bought four of copies of thisbook and this will be that book that you give to others as gifts. But it. No matter what skin color you or the person you are buying it for is . All children need to know that the color of our skin does not make us different any more the hair color . We are all the same inside and out ❤️

Loved the quality, illustrations, and the meaning. Read it to my son as soon as it arrived. I know it’ll be a book he’ll always remember.

It's like reading a really good poem! The illustrations are BEAUTIFUL. I read it to my 3 yr old and 4 month old. My 3 yr old loves it and the baby looks at the pictures with intent. No fussing when this book is out.

What an incredibly beautiful book!!! The words. The illustrations. Everything! Ordering a second one for my other daughter... I will give to them as keepsakes. Make sure you have a box of tissues handy while reading. :-)
