It's silk alright. I had to figure out how to hold it to fold it. Seriously tho, really great quality and I'm gonna have a lot of fun figuring out how to work rope for the first time. It also has a very nice shine, which adds a lot of dimension to what is usually a matte rope.

This rope is extremely smooth/soft. It's very shiny and looks amazing in photos. Be advised, the ends are not finished and the rope is not very durable. Perfect product for the right use. This doesn't catch on delicate clothing. Like most nylon type ropes, this will burn on the skin if pulled quickly.

I did not know how much rope I needed, the quality is good. Colors vibrant ... I need more!

Not sure why this cord is so difficult to find, but it took me more than a year after the cord holding my Chinese scroll disintegrated. It appears well made and the red matches the stamp on the artwork.

Pretty Nylon Rope 1/4 of a inch. not 1/3 of a inch. You should only buy it for decoration or something not very heavy duty.

Easy to use, soft and smooth. No chafing and seem to be holding up well.
