I love Alice 19th!
This was a replacement book for one that ended up being destroyed, and I still love the Alice 19th series to this day. It is spectacular Yu Watase created, and I will continue to enjoy these books no matter how old I get. I am currently 20 years old, with a son and I plan on keeping all my works forever.

At last... I am enrapt...
"If Mara should run rampant, if men's souls become corrupt and my word can no longer reach them the time will come for the true power of Lotis to awaken. Masters who receive the lost word will surely appear."Under the stress of both Mayura and Alice's Father's disappearance Alice's Mother becomes bedridden and must be admitted to the hospital. Kyo and Frey decide to stay with Alice while her mother is convalescing. This becomes difficult for Alice, who as of yet has still not revealed to Kyo how she feels, but a phone call from Mayura becomes priority as the three enter the maram (inner heart) of her Father to find the two of them. While there the three encounter a greater threat, the emperor of Evil, Darva, has taken Mayura. Alice and Kyo manage to rescue her and bring her back from the depth of the mara, but she seems different after the whole experience, and her clear amnesia from certain events causes some concern for Alice. Frey reveals that the prophecy that predicted Darva's return also predicts the emergence of two Lotis Masters, and he believes that Kyo and Alice are the chosen ones. More complications arise when Kyo tries to end his relationship with Mayura, now that she is back, and Alice decides to tell him how she feels, but a curse of hatred branded onto Kyo's flesh by Mayura himself may prevent Alice from ever getting the chance to tell him how she feels. Now the series is starting to really interest me... I think it's safe to say that Watase is developing it nicely. I will keep reading and enjoying it, and I encourage all manga fans to do so as well.

GET MAYURA
Alice Seno is in an awkward position as Kyo and Frey move in with her because her mother is in the hospital after a Mara attack, and her father has disappeared on a business trip. Is he cheating on her mom or what? Or is it something even more sinister, involving her sister Mayura, who is also missing, caught in the clutches of the evil Mara? In Volume 3 of Alice 19th, entitled "Chained", our three heroes, along with the bunny guide, Nyozeka, venture into the Inner Heart to find Mayura and Alice's father. We also learn of the origin of the Lotis Words and the Mara, and the Lotis Masters that fight against them. This shojo should appeal to both sexes, seeing as how it has relistic relationships and unsentimental action. The only thing I disliked about this volume was that in some scenes of seriousness, out of the blue, Watase inserts slapstick humor that totally ruins the mood of some of its most intense scenes. I'm all for humor in minor scenes, but not in major turning points where a character's life is being threatened.I would also recommend the anime series Escaflowne and His and Her Circumstances.

It's sooo romantic!!!
hello everybody,if I would be Alice,I'd would be the luckiest girl in the world!! I mean... when I read that Kyo and Frey would come over to Alice I just freaked out!!! And ofcourse the growing love between Alice and Kyo( it ends with a passionate kiss between Alice and Kyo). Kyo finally admits his love towards Alice, not for Mayura! But this volume tells some more about the secret identity of Frey... they think that they defeated the Maara inside Mayura, but quess again...(NOT!!!)actually,the 3th volume is the beginning of everything...oh, I can tell to much! You gotta read it for yourself !Sigh,I'd wish that I was a Lotus master...cioa, Shigurexxx
