Sorry, Not Up To My Expectations
I gave the monocular a good try but ended up returning it to Amazon. I realize that this item was only $65 and I was taking a chance that it would work out for me.However, I'm a casual bird watcher and lens clarity is important to me. I could never get a real clear view of the local birds, which tend to be on the smaller size where I live (Willamette Valley, Oregon). And it progressively got worse when I tried to focus on larger waterfowl in the distance.I also am doubtful about the 10 power magnification claim. I own a mid-priced 8x42 Leupold binocular. The Leupold product brings birds, etc. in noticeably closer than the 10 power Polaris monocular. Now I admit there might be some "physics?" issue related to the power of one lens versus 2 lenses that I don't understand or know about but I could tell a difference.I did feel the build quality of the Polaris monocular looked and felt very good. A bit of advice: anything over about 8 power is very difficult to hold still without some kind of support (tripod, etc). If I continue seeking a monocular it will be 8 power or less and I would probably be willing to step up a little in price.I will give kudos to Amazon related to how easy it was to make this particular return. I was able to leave it at a local Amazon drop box.

Bright and sharp image
I have just received the 10x50 Polaris monocular. So far i'm happy - very bright and well-focused image, quite wide field of view. Seem to have true 10x - I compared with my 12x50 binoculars and Polaris image is just barely smaller. The adjustment for the focus is smooth and precise. Monocular came with tripod which is a little small for this relatively heavy thing, so i'm going to use the tripod with digital camera. As for the price - you get what you paid for. Initially I ordered ~$40 worth monocular from a different company (Barska) and did not like the image and sharpness. Now this one is significantly better for $65. You choose.

Sturdy and very clear image
seems well built. My prior monocular was by Vortex. Fell out of my pocket once and would never focus again. Activated my lifetime warranty just now. If a company offers a lifetime warranty, they must be sure of their product. I would like to have the ability to attach a neck lanyard to this monocular. I use this while working container ships, and like to have access to it quickly via a neck lanyard to verify container numbers and location in the pad. I am trying to find a bolt or something that will attach to where the tripod attaches to attach a neck lanyard. Company assistance?

I am so pleased with the Polaris Nature Monocular. I cannot believe such clarity and brightness can be obtained at this low price. The grip is very comfortable and the adjustments for focus are at the touch of a finger - quick and easy!! By far this has surpassed my expectations and enhance any outdoor activity! Thrilled with this wonderful product!! .

Sharp, easy focus. I've used it on hiking trips to survey sights in the distance, looking for wildlife at time. Also a good backyard bird watching scope for that quick grab and look when that bird appears. It's portability for a larger optical tool vs the same in a binocular makes it an easy choice to bring along for any occasion. I've attached the case to my belt several times - again, an easy reach and quick focus.

Great monocular.
This is just what I was looking for. Very bright image with a large exit pupil. Eye relief is very short but I can view the image edge to edge with my glasses on. I do have to place the eyecup against my lens. 10X is just about perfect for a hand held optic, much stronger and the image is "moving" (actually your hand), lower magnification and you can't see enough details.

great but...
clear views, easy to focus. But can't stand the texture. It feels kind of weirdly sticky-rubbery and is unlike the texture on our other plastic casings on binoculars. And I can't quite figure what we will use it for because the tripod is too short to use on our table and the piece is too heavy to use solely by hand. It's great quality at a great price hence the four stars, but is not a fit for us.

Good bang for the buck!
Very clear optics. Not light but not too heavy. You can easily locate what you are looking for. Good range. All in all a very nice unit for the money. Fast shipping. The only con it you want to call it that is that it is too large to stick in your pocket or pocketbook. You will have to attach the case to a belt if you want to carry all day.
