A Wooly Mammoth of distortion! Djont let the name fool you! A Stoner Cold Metal Monster!
I actually got this to add high gain distortion pedal to my board along with my green style OD. I was expecting a somewhat generic distortion that saved space so I wasn't prepared for how much character this pedal has or how darn small the footprint (see pic next to guitar pics!) - or how much I was going to like it lol! It's an adorable little monster what it is!Now you're probably itching to ask the obvious question - Does it Djent?!? Well, honestly I don't know cause I don't think I Djent so I don't have security clearance to answer that but I do have a soft spot for Stoner Metal and this pedal pushed that button immediately. In fact it's why I gave it a 5 because it's a mini Wooly Mammoth of distortion that is way more versatile than I expected and sooo much more fun to play with than a typical distortion because of it.Surprisingly - to me at least - I found that the Djent offers a fat rich distortion that it usually takes a cool vintage or boutique box to get. Definitely symmetrical clipping but with an uncharacteristic warmth almost like a germanium Fuzz Face but more versatile because of the 3 tone/clipping options on the toggle and the Saber tone control. The 3 way toggle gives a varying amount of treble/presence but it sounds to me like it's maybe switching between transistors or diodes because it changes the character of the tone too but none of the positions are harsh in the way many pedals can be when they offer the option of too much treble on tap and there's loads of low end in any setting. The Djent knob is like a drive pedal but there's actually a wider range of drive on the lower end of the spectrum than I heard in any of the vids I watched. This is something I really like about the pedal and it gives it more versatility that I had anticipated though the pedal responds to the guitar volume surprisingly well at any drive/djent setting. The Saber knob is sort of a midrange tone knob but too my ear it's like what changing cabs or speakers does with an amp. It can be really scooped in the mids like some 4x12's or it can be a really focused mid like a 1x12 combo and it's usable all along that spectrum depending on what you're going for.So if you're looking for a huge warm distortion that has a unique sonic footprint this is a great option. And if you're someone who likes a desert doom stoner vibe that's not as messy as a fuzz but still saturated and fat it's almost a must-have. And don't let the Djent title shy you away from missing a pedal that has tons of character cause if you're looking for a really cool distortion that's not generic this a pedal worth considering.

Worth 5x the price
I was looking for a bitcrusher type effect and stumbled across this randomly, and was swayed by the good reviews. It turns out, they are all correct, this is an extremely nice pedal for the price, if this was in a boutique enclosure it would be five times more expensive. First off, it is very tiny, only about the size of about two matchboxes on top of each other. I knew it was small from the photos, but in real life it's still a shock at first. I love how small it is though, it won't take up any space on my desktop and yet still looks really unique. The top clear knob also lights up white when you turn it on, so that is a really cool visual to go along with the small size.It sounds great! I ran a few small synths I have through it as a quick test before I hooked it up to larger equipment. They all sounded awesome through it, there is such a huge range of sounds. This will really take any instrument I run through it and give it a filter to tweak the sound into something out of the ordinary. You can also use it in a live manner, turning the knob to crush the sound digitally either opening up a track/song or closing one out by having it descend into digital crumbles. As far as the crushing sound, this is on par, if not better that both the software I have that does crushing, and the hardware I have (Digitakt, Typhon) that have built in crushing filters. It has a great sound that isn't an overly harsh digital cheesefest (although you could take it there with eq and effects), but more of a literal pulling apart of the sounds as you turn the knob. Hard to describe in words, but it sounds really good, and not just like a gimmick. This is great for adding character to samples, pads, and (sampled) percussion, as well as just fun to run synth sounds through. The only thing I'd add to this would be to have a stereo option to have this in my stereo chain. It works amazingly as-is, so no points off for that, but I would definitely pay more just for that option, if the manufacturer ever reads this.Overall, is it worth the money? Yes, this is one of the best sounding small purchases I've made in a long time, it didn't just deliver, it actually exceeded my expectations. You will need to buy a power cable for it, I ordered a D'Addario PW-CT-9V to go with it (slim size ac adapter) and it's working great.

OK Pitch Shifter, Awesome Organ Simulator
Harmony Pedal:Pitch Shift: 7/10 The signal is a little wobbly. For comparison, I'd rate my Drop pedal a 9/10. Both pedals sound a little weird unless they are buried in the mix. Both pedals get a little shakey the more complex (chords) the input is. The Drop outperforms the Hotone when striking full chords.[IMPORTANT NOTE w/ all pitch shifters: Even w/ headphones you must have your volume turned up loud enough that you cannot hear your pick hitting your strings or things are going to sound like an alien dying.]Latency: 6/10 Noticeable but useable. The Drop is barely noticeable.Options:1) Up mode. For the price it is wild that this pedal goes both ways.2) Organ Mode: Crank the wet+dry signals to 11 and pitch to max and it sounds exactly like a giant church organ. This is why I kept this pedal.

High gain distortion

Not working
Late delivery, it wouldn’t work. I thought my power supply had problem which runs perfectly with other pedals . Then finally i Order separate adapter for it and guess what wouldn’t work still , not it’s out of return window also coz I actually thought Amazon would have delivered the right product , this is not acceptable whatsoever.

Does it CHUG ??? Ummm Yea... this thing slays
I have a few metal pedals, so I usually know what to expect, but this thing has a whole extra gear of aggression. It has a decent mellow drive for rock and blues when the settings are dialed down, but is all power as you turn it up. On It's most aggressive setting I had to swap my Jackson for my Schecter 7 string just to see how far it pushed... and Slipknot licks were just jumping out of it. The top dial lights up when its on, which adds a different look to the pedal board.Rolling down the volume on the guitar (and upping it on the amp) really helps with note clarity without taking away from the sound. I found other metal pedals struggle more with that. If your drive or distortion pedal isn't cutting it, and you need more power, I give this a strong recommend.

Slightly pricey, but is an awesome pedal for....EVERYTHING!!!
PRO: Smallest bittus chrunchiess of a pedal that looks like a robot on a bender or one small, amazing robo tiki heads that munches the sound real good. When paired with another effect that does sweeping (ADSR, cyclicEnv, LFO, cutoff pass on a filter...) and smooth tweaking on the bit reductuion and sample rate dials with the mix almost 80-90 total velocity and you get 5-bit S & H like sequencing. Run it on a synth or plug in that does classic trance gating sequencing and chords and you have lo fi gritty arpeggios. CON: It's only mono! ,T _ TPlease make one with TRS input/output.
