The purpose of this bin was to stop mice getting at the birdseed in the shed. Previously, we stored it in a big plastic box there and they nibbled their way in, ate themselves silly and couldn't get out so subsequently died. My husband even put heavy items on top of the box but it made no difference. This metal bin is ideal.

Just the size I needed for my bird seed, strong with a good fitting lid.

The items very satisfactory but lighter grade metal. Very suitable for outdoor use .. will keep items stored weatherproof

I store bird seed in my greenhouse & have had numerous plastic containers that have constantly been broken due to the sun, so a metal bin does a much better job!!!

The lid stays on very well, it is waterproof and doesn't leak. It is exactly what I was looking for.

Poor quality. lid badly stamped with creases in it, badly rolled edges and not circular. But it is functional.
