CraghoppersKiwi Classic Trousers

I have been walking in these Kiwi trousers for about a decade now. Although they say 'guaranteed for life' I did mange to wear one pair out - but I am talking about perhaps 1000 or more wears, and perhaps 300 washes. That's good value, and even now I wear them gardening. I love the small zipped pockets (for keys, phone) and bigger pockets (dog ball) and the fit is relaxed and comfortable. I don't like the Pro range of craghoppers (a strange stretchy, sweaty kind of horrible) but these classic Kiwi are just lovely, and I wear them most of the time.

Product arrived in perfect condition on the appointed day. The product is the good quality expected from Craghoppers. Ideal for walking the dogs in dodgy weather. Pockets ideal for securing phone and car keys etc. comfortable to wear. I will use this firm again.

Warm and comfortable trousers at a great price. Have come in handy on camping trips and are not too hot when walking! Slightly long fit but still feel good

This is the 5th pair of kiwi Craghoppers i have bought. I fell over them by accident looking for something suitable for a lapland trip (cotton polyester mix ideal) but they come into their own and I have used them for summer trips too.What i particularly like is that you can zip off the legs to turn them into shorts, so saves taking shorts and trousers. however the biggest selling point for me is the pockets, the inner zipped pockets offering for me a high level of security, with an outer part of pocket for your hangs, and rear zipped pockets and a map sized cargo pocket, itself with an inner part for pens, phones, mp3!they do not need ironing when washed, dry very quickly, always look smart, hard wearing, easy to clean. the belt is great too, no metal on it meaning airport security is a doddle no having to take your belt off.they are generous sizes, the SHORT is a good 30 inches (not 29).my oldest pair is over a year old and they look just as good as when i first bought them.

I have had a pair of Craghoppers Classic Kiwi trousers for years and they are fantastic. With early retirement and a dog, I'm now walking much more and decided to buy another pair. The offer on Amazon was fantastic; only £13.60 and free post. I bought 2 pairs and only after the purchase looked at the reviews. I was surprised to see quite a few at only 1-star.Having received the trousers, I can certainly see why previous Kiwi owners were so disappointed; the current version is a shadow of what they originals were. Many 1-star reports talk about front pocket depth; well here's some quantitative evidence. With my hand in the front pocket of the originals, the lower cut is at my wrist bone. For the new pair, it only just reaches above the knuckle of my small finger; that's a significant difference. The zipped pockets are also smaller, although no change to the map pocket for obvious reason. Only time will tell if the material,stitching, zips etc are anywhere close to the originals, which I've had for a number of years.The way you rate Kiwis then depends if you are new to them or are comparing them to the original design. The new cut is certainly not as generous, pockets smaller and only one loop, rather than the original double, at each belt point. They aren't what they used to be, but they are still OK and fit for purpose, although perhaps for a shorter period of time. And for the price I paid, rather than RRP, they are fantastic value.

I have tried a number of different designs of walking trousers over the years but always keep coming back to the Kiwi Classic because they are soooooo comfortable and practical. That said, its not a 5-star review because there are pro’s and con’s.On the down side - I have two gripes:They claim to be water repellent but that is questionable. Maybe if you get lightly splashed you can quickly shake the water off and it won’t soak in, but take a walk through some long wet grass or walk in the rain and they absorb like a standard cotton trouser. So if you are looking to stay dry on a hillside, you will need an over trouser. Don’t mistake water repellent for showerproof – they aren’t.Unless I am the unluckiest shopper ever - Craghoppers seem to have a quality control issue. There is a wild variation in sizing that probably relates to which factory or which machine operator made each pair. I always order the same size and there seems to be no consistency in hip width, crutch length and the abdominal cut. Some come up really baggy and others fit like they are tailored for me. The only consistent feature appears to be leg length. So you may need to try on several pairs before you get a pair that suits you.On the plus side: Whilst I may be unimpressed with the water repellent claims, the claimed Stain Resistance does seem fair, because they wash up like new every single time. Really durable trousers that hold their colour well, with little in the way of fading or bleached seams/hems. Loads of pockets with good quality zips, nice iPhone 6 sized elasticated pocket inside the main thigh pocket. Good comfortable waist /belt line and really good reliable one-touch release belts included. They just feel really well made.

This is my 5th pair. I've use them regularly for fishing, kayaking and dog walking. Very light and fast drying but surprisingly robust. Not high fashion, but they look good enough, if a little baggy, for an evening at a restaurant when it's too just hot for jeans.

Güzel model ,güzel ürün. Ancak dikiş sonrası son kontrol yapılmıyor mu ? . Ürünün heryerinde çok fazla iplik fazlalıkları var üründe. Dikişler biraz acemice geldi bana . The north face, Jack wolfskin, haglofs , Royal robbins ürünlerinde öyle iplik fazlalıkları hiç görmedim.

I bought my first pair of these pants a couple of years ago and liked it so much, I decided to get a second one. The fabric is just the right weight (heavy enough for cold days; light enough for warm ones), the construction is sturdy, the pockets are well designed, and the fit is excellent.
