I ordered this drill with same day delivery as I needed to secure a small section of flooring before Christmas Day.I'd tripped up. My partner had tripped up. Even the dog was tripping up! Last thing I needed was to be spread eagled on the floor covered in turkey trimmings while attempting to serve Christmas Day dinner.It arrived just in time for three small holes to be drilled in the floor, before it was an unacceptable time in the evening to be creating a din.On opening the box I noticed there was no paperwork inside. Okaaay...? I then opened the drill case and noticed 3 drill bits missing. I looked in the box thinking they'd maybe come lose from their grips. Nope. Nada. Nowt. Okaaay...?Trying to remain positive (sans alcohol consumption) I decided to ignore the fact that the bits were missing and use a, still very much secured in the box, drill bit to complete my task. Nope. Nada. Naw.The drill already had a screwdriver bit between it's teeth that could not, under any circumstances, and believe you me I'm strong when I'm angry, be removed. With all the will in the sweary, red-faced, world, it would not be budged.I am returning said drill forthwith, and, in the meantime, using every ounce of self restraint not to lash it out the window and into the bin store, where it clearly belongs.I'm now off to finish the litre bottle of Sherry in the kitchen and then drown the rest of my sorrows with the half bottle of Brandy that I was keeping for tomorrow's Christmas pudding.Hopefully, by the end of the evening, I won't even be able to see the floor, never mind fix it.
