Wella Professionals Illumina Permanent Hair Color - 8/1 Light Ash Blonde

I just received the 2 wella illumina colors that I ordered. However, both have expiration dates of 3/21. It's the last week in 2021, so 9 months past the expiration date.

I followed the instructions exactly. I mixed the entire 2 oz tube of Illumina 8/1 with a 1:1 mixture of 2 oz of the 20 volume/6% Welloxon Perfect. I first applied it to mid-lengths and my ends and left it on for 20 minutes development time per the instructions. I next applied the coloring mixture to my roots and the rest of my hair and left it on for 40 minutes per the instructions. My normal hair color is light ash blond in the picture above. The top hair is what happened after applying the enclosed instructions exactly. The Illumina 8/1 I purchased for light ash blonde turned my hair orange. If anyone has any suggestions how to reverse this, please let me know.

Great color! Saved my orange mess and turned it into a nice light/medium ash blonde! It's very shiny, too. Much more so than boxed dyes or ones from Sally's.
