I purchased this item to place inside the drink holder that is on the doors of my SUV - to serve as small garbage holder to hold dry items like tissue and candy wrappers...etc. It just the right size and works for what I need it for. Because it is lightly padded, for the one I placed on the driver's side, I use it to hold my sunglasses - easier to access than the one built in for the SUV - it's located next to the light, and it's a touch sensor light and I sometimes turn on the light when getting/putting away my sunglasses.

My glasses easily fall out of the holder.
