Hi Holly, It IS the picture. If you look at the 4th & 5th pics, you will see the actual material on front. Back is shiny, as 6th pic, w/buckle in back, (atypical), with a delicate masculine design woven into fabric. It is a quality garment which will get worn for many occasions. I ordered this vest in size Lg, for my Fiance, to attend a wedding this past Spring. It fit him perfect, was comfortable, and he received many compliments. FYI: Chama, through Amazon delivered very quickly, without the need of expedient delivery. We were extremely pleased with our overall purchase. Hope this helps for your decision, Holly.
