Gaswatch Digital Tank Scale with Display (Black)

Just wish it would fit inside the grill. Once I out the tank on it, the tank doesn't fit back on the sliding Tray and it becomes too tall to fit in the cabinet. Unit works great.

I read other reviews that said the item was poorly made or it was a great idea with poor implementation. They never said what the issues were but now I know. One is that the wire that comes out of the bottom of the display was pulled out of the bottom so that wires are exposed. It came out of the box this way. Picture attached. The other issue is on my Weber Spirit the propane hose is stiff and short so depending on how I spin the tank the gauge goes from 30%-40% depending on how the hose contacts the top side of the tank. It's nearly impossible to not have the hose touch the tank on my grill due to the limited room. I had such high hopes for this and bought it despite the poor reviews hoping that I could make it work. I'm concerned over its reliability. UPDATE: Early this morning, as in about 2:00AM, the scale decided that the tank that *was* at 20% remaining at 7:00PM when I completed cooking was now at 10% remaining which means the thing beeps, and beeps, and beeps, meaning that I had to get up, get dressed and go outside to remove the batteries to silence the thing. There is no power or silence button, the so called reset button silenced it for a few seconds before it started back up. I had to remove the batteries. Lastly and finally, an email sent to the manufacturer has been ignored. I have now become one of those reviewers that say "if I could give it zero stars I would". Give this item a pass.

I got one of these for my hubby and one for my son in law. I can say my hubby loves it so much he wanted me to get another one to gift to someone else. we have several tanks so he keeps it with them so he can check any one of them when he wants.

Had two, first one did work at all, second one worked only a few months then quit working. Now it's too late to return.

What a meat product! Monitoring how much propane is in the tank is a breeze. Pressure gauges do not work on liquified propane as its vapor pressure is constant until the tank is 98% empty. Easy to install and calibrate to the tank weight, I will never run out of propane again.
