I can't seem to get these installed in my 2006 pontiac torrent. The bulb won't seat in the headlight housing, is there an adapter needed?

These are standard H4 bulbs that are a little brighter but the fittings are the same . Check if the manual requires H4 Bulbs - they fit like a standard H4 .

What is the warrant for this product?

There is an estimate of about 400 hours on the H4 version which is longer than the other version of these bulbs. But I do not think they guarantee this number .
