Do not buy this webcam...
Do not buy this camera. This camera became the bane of my existence the instant it entered my life. I originally bought this camera because it was marketed to be easy to use, plug and play. IT IS NOT.Here is the sequence of events:Recive the camera in the mail, the box itself had good weight to it, turns out 90% of the weight of the camera is from the mount. The camera itself weighs no more than an empty soda can.Plug in camera and open Razer Synapse. Camera is not being detected. Great. (I then try every single one of my other usb slots, 2.0, 3.0, 3.2). Nothing. OK. Restart computer? It's now being detected in the devices menu, but when I turn on the preiveiw for the camera nothing comes up but a grey screen. So I close synapse and go to google for trouble-shooting.Initiate trouble-shooting rabbit hole.I found out I might have the wrong version of synapse, so I uninstall it and reinstall Synapse 3. Restart computer for good luck. Open Synapse. Camera is popping up in devices *yay!*. Camera preview is working and I can see my beautiful face finally. I'm able to refine the settings and get the image to look pretty good, and enter a discord call to show my tech buddies my new toy.The webcam works for 3 seconds and then freezes indefinetly.More trouble-shooting ensues.I find out the webcam might need a firmware update. No problem. I do that, all is well. Restart computer for some more good luck. Camera preview in Synapse looks great. Enter Discord call, camera cannot be detected. Fine. You guessed it, more trouble-shooting.I find out that the discord application has webcam issues itself, so maybe I shouldn't be so hard on the camera and try to fix discord problems that are affecting the webcam. Touble-shoot that stuff and it doesn't fix anything. From there I test the camera in OBS studio, and Twitch. Same problems of either being hard to detect or freezing indefinetly. And now, I am here.Reading into other reviews, it seems like I'm not the only one experiencing these issues/similar ones. I really wanted to like this camera. It has a sleek design and was marketed to be convinient and easy to use. I also really liked that it connected directly to Razer Synapse. The camera also looks great for the couple seconds it works, giving me a taste of whats its capable of but not letting me have it. I don't personally believe I can do anything more on my end that I haven't tried multiple times over already to fix this. I hope my review can help you decide if you're willing to take on this headache of a webcam, or choose another brand like I will be.

Ain't complaining for $40, awesome for streaming
Got mine "used" w/ prime day discount so lucked out getting this for $40...I'm def happy with it.After using it I would say it's worth buying at full price.Feels very sturdy. Premium build. Comes with a nice cable like most Razer products. Hell it even comes with a lens cap.No focusing issues during streaming. (I only use this with OBS)It's pretty heavy and comes with a decent mount, so if you bump your set up it wont fall off or bounce around like smaller lighter cams. Has a standard thread on the bottom so if you don't like the mount you can hook it to a tripod or whatever you want. The cam nice video quality. Sharp, vivid colors, and no issues with blurriness/focusing. I haven't had any issues so far.Only thing I haven't tested is the mic, I just dont use cam mics. But yeah this cams great. I'm always moving my set up to random spots in the house. Just wanted something simple/quick to set up with awesome quality. And also wanted something that wasn't going to break the bank. This def hits all the marks. Love it

For $60 the Razer Kiyo Pro is a great webcam! Great quality for the average user!
I have done extensive research into webcams. From the Logitech c920 all the way to the Insta360 Link and almost anything in-between! I have not personally used these webcams but I have watched enough videos, read tons of comments and forum posts that I feel I can give an educated review. Out of all the currently available webcams under $200 the Razer Kiyo Pro is by far the best when bought under $100. The color accuracy, low light performance, auto focus, field of view choices and crisp image make this the clear choice for those looking for a budget webcam for anything from zoom calls to live streaming! I even tested this against my Galaxy s9+ and though at 4k resolution the Galaxy s9+ performed better, its difficult to use on a computer and the quality is diminished using third party software. My Galaxy S9+ beats this webcam hands down doing local recording in 4k but that is to be expected. But when comparing both in 1080p I cannot tell a difference between the Razer Kiyo Pro and my Samsung Galaxy S9+ which is very impressive! You cannot get a better webcam at the $100-150 price range than the Razer Kiyo Pro as of 11/24/2023. The next best webcam would be the Insta360 Link, or using an actual high end $350+ camera with a $100 capture card to be able to capture it on your computer. Some newer camera's are coming with the ability to be captured directly by software like Open Broadcast Software (OBS) but they are still over the price of something like the Insta360 Link. But for my use case which is primarily for video calls with friends and family and live streaming a tiny square of myself in the corner of gameplay content the Razer Kiyo Pro is hands down the best choice!

OMG!! Awesome product!! Exceptional Quality Webcam on a Budget
This webcam is outstanding. After extensively testing it, I can confidently say its quality rivals that of professional cameras. It’s an incredible choice for anyone on a budget who demands excellent video quality. I strongly recommend it. Considering its performance, the PRO version is simply not needed; this webcam is more than sufficient for anyone seeking a reliable and high-quality option without breaking the bank.
