XY-WQ Floating Pool Thermometer, Large Size Easy Read for Water Temperature with String for Outdoor and Indoor Swimming Pools and Spas (Duck)

I’m giving this 1 star because I also can’t get it to float upright. It constantly tips and then lays on his side. My previous pool thermometer didn’t have this problem. I’ve drowned it until all air is out of his thermometer tube, but still he tips, it’s frustrating. It’s so cute, and I want to try to jerry-rig it to stay upright, but I’m tempted to just send it back and get a different one.

Within the first week of use the thermometer came apart from the tub and was no longer useful. There was not rough using on this item, as it just sat in the pool. Very disappointed that within a week the product broke and I was out the money I spent on this item.Would like for the seller to contact me regarding this.

Cute product but only lasted less than a week! The temp gauge dislodged from the back piece so I wasn’t able to tell the temperature of the pool. This is the 2nd temperature monitor I have order and both have ended up in the trash!!

Our 27' above ground pool is nestled in between 6 trees which block the sunlight nearly completely.The water is typically always too cold unless the temperature gets above 90° outside.this thermometer has really helped alleviate an uncomfortable experience before getting into the pool and realizing we have to get out immediately because the water is unbearable.it’s extremely cute, accurate, The numbers are big enough so that the temperature is easy to read and effortless to use.an amazing price as well!

I loved this little duck floating pool thermometer. But unfortunately, the thermometer stick broke two days after I had it in the pool. It looks like the actual thermometer part came unglued from the inside part. Was very disappointed and returned it for a refund.

The duck is adorable, but within a few weeks the thermometer came loose inside and it just falls over to the edge. You have to jiggle it back to the middle to even read it.

I mean, this is pretty neato, it tells the temp and the kids think its cute - for some reason, it wont stay straight up, always floating sideways. Still though, DUCKY!!!!

The thing REFUSED to stay up right (laid sideways) no matter what I did short of gluing a rock on the bottom to stay thermometer down and duck upright floating on the water as it should. The duck is adorable and seems sturdy but like I said, played dead duck in the water.
