This patio table and chair set is so much more solidly built than the outgoing set it replaces. It was delivered on a pallet and weighed every bit of 400lbs. The material is very dense, with steel reinforcement throughout the table's underside and the chairs are very comfortable. Size is right for 6 adults with a lot of food in front of them. As a few other reviewers here and elsewhere on the web noted - the teak option is darker than pictured - more of a mahogany brown - but it looks great on our red brick patio. The chairs also arrive mostly assembled except for the two chairs with arm rests. The table assembles easily with a 3/8" socket wrench, and though I was able to build it ground level and flip it upright myself, having a second person would make the task much easier as the table weighs over 100lbs assembled! Looking forward to many years with this set! Two small nitpicks: First, some of the corners and edges have small burrs and stringy pieces of plastic from manufacturing. These clean off easily with a box cutter or razor. Second and more importantly - the arm rests attach via a 3/8" bolt below, and a double-sided threaded screw that rotating the arm tightens up (pictured). Starting that double-sided screw by hand is difficult and frustrating. Using a pair of vice-grip pliers to get it started a turn or two (which I pictured here) made it much easier. The end result looks great with no exposed screw or bolt heads on the arm rests. We'd buy this set again.

Just received our 6 piece lakeside teak patio table set, which arrived well package with no damage. The color is not a true Teak, more like a brown/Teak, in all still a very beautiful color. All chairs are fully assemble except for adding the arms to the two captain chairs. It took my husband less than a hour to assemble the legs to the table top. Table & Chairs are heavy, sturdy and should withstand the Kansas winds without blowing over or off the deck. Chairs are wide and very comfortable to sit on. I love the durability and low maintenance of the set. As for the price, for a little bit more you can get a better product than the average set at you local home improvement store. The company offers a 20 year product warranty on their residential purchases. This set is beautiful. Would buy again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great low maintenance outdoor patio dining table.

Shipping was incredibly fast. I was elated when I found out the chairs were shipped pre assembled. Assembly of table took less than an hour. Quality shows. Would recommend

I just received my Polywood 7 Piece Lakeside and got it all assembled in about an hour. The entire set is very well made and high quality. The shipment all came togehter on a single large shrink wrapped pallet. My previous metal dining set that I had near my pool lasted about 6 years. It was always covered while not in use but the legs and other parts still heavily rusted. I can see this Polywood set lasting many many years with nearly zero care other than simple cleaning. Everything about it is better made and sturdier. The set came with 6 chairs and they were all preassembled. Two of the chairs came with arm rests that need to be installed. Those took about 10-15 minutes to put on. Even without seat cushions the chairs are comfortable and have a good angle on the back. They do not feel cheap/flimsy like most outdoor furniture. The table required about 45 minutes to attach the legs and supports. The table is large and very well made like the rest of the set. I estimate the table weights in the 120lb range. I did have one small issue where a screw was missing so one of the boards on the seat wasn't attached to base on one side. I called Polywood and they immediately offered to send a whole replacement chair but I opted to just have a screw sent to attach the loose board. I already have a tracking number for the screw so they helped very quickly. This still should have been found at the factory before it was shipped but they made things right and everything else was great.

Amazing table! Chairs came assembled which was a huge relief. Very sturdy. Hoping it lasts us many years.

Love it! Yes this is an expensive sit but it's well-made and strong. Chairs are substantial in weight. We've been dining on it for a year now, and looks brand new. It hasn't warped or lost its color. Very easy to clean with a hose and some liquid soap.

Love it and lives up to the hype. We have had it for a year and it has held up great. Washed it in the spring and it was ready to go

I purchased the Farmhouse Dining Set with four chairs and two armchairs, two gliders, four rockers, two coffee tables and, separately, five end tables. Beautiful furniture that only needed some minor removal of extra material fringing and one bolt hole opened to allow the bolt all the way through. In the first glider package there was not enough hardware to complete the job but someone must have thought this would be a problem and placed two packets in which resolved that issue. The gliders are surprisingly easy to put together: Keep in mind I am a 68 year old female who did all this on my own. Good job Polywood. The area of concern seems to be quality control in inspecting the merchandise going out. I am now ready to complete putting together the table. The box that holds the legs for the table is separate from the table top, cross braces and bottoms of legs. I opened the leg box up and they are the only items in a light brown color. I contacted the company as they state on their website that filling out the online form is the quickest way to get a response. I am hopeful they will get back to me soon. I contacted them early last week through Amazon regarding the one arm chair not having needed hardware and still have not heard from them. As I stated, the furniture is strong, heavyweight and appears to be of a quality that should last for decades. I look forward to being able to sit around the table with friends very soon!
