Let's start this review off by stating that the various plant proteins and plant-based ingredients used to make this beverage taste quite... planty... You can definitely taste the pumpkin seeds and other additives. It does taste like chocolate, however, it has a very thick smoothie-like texture to it. That being said, all of the natural ingredients and plant protein plus all of the vitamins and minerals all in one 230 calorie package makes it a perfect protein shake breakfast if you are aiming for weight loss. It has several weight management nutrients such as Chromium content which has slight weight-loss benefits. These sell for about $3-$5 in stores so buying in bulk is a smart choice if taste isn't an issue for you. My advice is do not buy this product if taste is a big issue for you. If you prioritize reaping nutrients in one serving and do not care about taste or texture then this is a perfect product for you!

I've ordered so many cases of this product for more than a year and pretty much drink it every day. It tastes good and has the % of protein, carbs, and fats that I look for. We drink it as a stand-alone, in shakes, and on road trips. I highly recommend this product.

This is by far the BEST tasting shake! I wake up everyday and drink one! I always feel satisfied after drinking!

Not really good

First, I’m not Vegan. I choose protein drinks on how well they agree with my digestive tract. Dairy based proteins tend to bloat me. These are great! Taste great, no digestive issues. I even drink them warm, out of my gym bag. Would definitely recommend these.

They advertise 35 G protein. It is actually 32 g.

This is the best plant based protein shake I’ve tasted!

OWYN makes the best tasting plant protein shakes. Their 20g chocolate shakes taste like Nestle Chocolate Milk. These...Not so much. I noticed that these shakes have 0 grams of sugar and the 20g shakes have 3g. Okay folks, really, do you think that 3g of sugar is going to make you diabetic. Unfortunately OWYN substituted a sweetener which gives it that fake taste I can't stand. It's palatable but I no longer enjoy them, I just chug it down so I don't have to taste the thing anymore. A shame really.
