Perfect to make septic tank more easily accessible
Our septic tank was installed 4 + years ago and had never been pumped so my wife especially felt it was time. Unfortunately I discovered the actual tank was a good 18" below the surface of my lawn so I had to move a fairly significant amount of soil to get to it (my service company would not perform this duty). In order to make things a bit easier next time around - I purchased this to set on top of my concrete tank lid (flat) to displace a good chunk of the soil. Also bought a domed cover to match. I didn't see the need to actually attach it as the surrounding soil should easily keep it in place and with the domed lid, the apex should only be about 6" down and easily discovered for future pumping without needing to displace nearly the volume of soil I did the first time. Solidly constructed.

easy installation
Not my first time using this product. Very easy to install. A little pricey. Received on scheduled but missing the stainless screws on both orders.

Works as expected
I needed to raise the covers on my septic tanks after some landscaping. Worked as expected. Only thing that would have been better is if it had included mounting screws, you obviously need them.
