Q: on first day, my smart dumb cat learned to knocked the whole thing over to save time... how can I keep this thing from getting knocked over?

I discouraged my Phoebe from that quickly learned trick by cutting the right-sized circle from the box it came in, covered it with packing tape for waterproofing (just in case) and used a bit more tape to secure it, but so I coul easily refill from the top. She stopped her gymnastics trick soon after and the toy did a brilliant job of putting the brakes on her scarf & barf eating style.

Q: Where is this product made?

The manufacturer is Hagen, which is a US company, but they also have outlets in other countries, exactly where it is made is hard to ascertain.

Q: Is it dishwasher safe?

Sorry to take so long, the issue was the manufacturer Hagen has nothing on the packaging about this. From what we can find on the internet it is dishwasher safe. We have contacted Hagen and if they reply any differently we will let you know.

Q: Does this work for declawed cats?

I would say yes. My cat isn't declawed but I never saw him use his claws while using it, he typically tips it over or just kind of cups his paw to get the treats/food!
