the ram itself is great, my computer is running so much better with the added memory. however when installing, there is no way to differentiate which way to have the card. there is identical stickers on either side, there was no instructions to whether these should be taken off, I couldnt tell which side was which. luckily I got it first try, thanks to the help guide from apple

I have had Corsair RAM before.. both Dominator and Vengeance sticks in desktop/tower systems. The most reliable sticks of RAM I have had experience without having to go to hardcore server grade RAM. Bought to upgrade in a Razer laptop... perfect!

This matched the OEM Samsung RAM spec and was a trusted brand name. Install was quick and easy as this is just dual channel only the back panel of the laptop had to come off on my HP OMEN 17-cb0040nr laptop. Be careful seating the RAM, I was slightly off the first time and couldn't boot, reseating resolved the issue. Otherwise the parts seem to be performing as designed and my laptop is working well.
