Product was discontinued long ago. Can still be used though!
As most reviews have said, the scent doesn't last. That is true, but what people don't realize and what the seller didn't say is that this product was discontinued years ago. These are just leftovers that have been sitting in a warehouse for who knows how long. This is okay with me though as I'm just glad I can still buy them, even though they are a little pricey.!!!TIP!!!If you really like the smell of Hoppe's then most likely you have some sitting around the house somewhere. Just put some on these and they will soak it right up and smell just like Hoppe's again!

Doesn’t smell like hoppes
This doesn’t smell like hoppes #9. Not even a little bit. Not even close. It smells like wintergreen and…cardboard? Also, add claims to allow returns but return function doesn’t work.

Love these!!!
Works just as expected. More of a novelty than anything else.Reviews stating it's not long lived are more or less correct but it lasted a good week or two (you kind of get used to these type of things too, I probably quit noticing a bit before it stopped smelling)...you can always just put some Hoppes on it I suppose.I still have two in the bag. Like I said, it just looks great hanging off my mirror.

Meh
Smells like bananas, citronella/mosquito repellent, & bubble gum. I like the smell a lot and got this cause I wanted to know if this was what I smelled at the range before buying the actual oil. Within 24 hours the smell fades a lot, it barely filled my small hatchback in that time. It definitely didn't fill my room up with the smell. I left them in the bag and cracked the top open, using one at a time, maybe all 3 would be different. Within a few days they are pretty much for show or if you want some nostalgic feeling people talk about when smelling this, then you can still get a whiff if you put it to your nose. I'm too young for that. I think they just sprayed this in some oil and eventually of course it's going to evaporate. They need to be saturated way more, if anything it should come soaking.
