Very handy, useful and attractive storage box for those special items you need to get to occasionally!
This stable, durable, and foldable non-woven Qingsheng storage box arrived in perfect condition. It was very well-packaged, folded in plastic wrap, with a flip-top lid which I just love! (Sometimes my right hand is full of items to store, and being able to use my left hand to easily open it up is so convenient and keeps me from spilling them all over the floor!) There are handles on each side of the box which I think are strong enough as long as you don't have really heavy objects in the box. I use my box for quilting supplies, so there isn't a lot of weight to mine even when I need to lift it into a closet on a shelf. The large box dimensions are approximately 14.8 x 9.2 x 9.7 inches - a convenient size for storing all kinds of objects such as old photos, lace, letters, Christmas decorations, or anything you want to protect and keep separate from general "stuff." I would suggest wrapping delicate or breakable objects in tissue paper just for extra protection, but all-in-all the box seems quite durable and sturdy. I'm not sure what kind of material it's made of - maybe a kind of fabric - but I'm no expert in these things. I wasn't able to get the little snap in the front to close securely, but that's not essential to my storage needs. I can't imagine not using it all the time, but you can just fold it up and put it away when you're not using it. I would certainly recommend this for every household (it comes in a smaller size also) because there is *always* something which can be stored out of sight for a week or a month or a year! Nice color, easy use
I've used these bins before but wanted to change the color scheme. I use them in my son's playroom to hold miscellaneous toys and art supplies. While you wouldn't want to use them for excessively heavy or large items since they will lose their shape, overall, they are sturdy and hold a decent amount of stuff. The price is actually higher than my local stores that carry these bins, but they didn't have gray, so the extra cost was worth it.
