I really loved this book, it completely consumed me the whole story start to finish.Amelia hasn't seen Justin since she ran away 9 years ago, the two of them were inseparable friends from day one, so when her nana leaves the two of them her beach house in her will, they will finally meet again.When they both end up at the house for the summer they will need to learn to share, but the fact Justin isn't alone he's brought his girlfriend Jade, who I happened to also like and even felt bad for. The reunion between Amelia and Justin wasn't easy for either of them because you can't help feel they're still attracted to each other, but the way they both dealt with it was done brilliantly, even with Jade presence. There were time's when you felt lines might be crossed, but never were which made me respect them more.The next stay at the house was everything that made you love the story so much more, the fact that there seemed to be an unbreakable bond between Amelia and Justin no matter what happened previously, the relationship and interaction between the two of them seemed to be so natural.The story just flowed so well together and there hasn't been a story in so long where the connection just gets better and stronger between a couple throughout, it was one of the stories I could have just kept reading on,I was rather sad when I reached the end.

OMG this book was total perfection. Beautiful, heartwarming, wonderfully written as per expected from Penelope Ward, I love this ladies books, each and every single one- and I have read them all. This one was no exception and had me gripped from page one until the very end, this book ticked all the boxes and so much more.Justin and Amelia have been friends since childhood, without either of them realising it, their feelings went much deeper, but neither one wanted to admit their feelings to one another being so young and only teenagers. They parted company when Amelia ran away from Justin and her feelings, but what she didn't expect was them to be thrown back together years later when Amelia's Nanna left them both her beach house - and so they became roommates. Each owning half of this beautiful house where they had shared many happy memories, was going to cause many untold problems for them and this is their story.The title is really misleading as there was bitterness and tension rather than hate, but what the hell, that didn't matter one bit because the chemistry between Justin and Amelia was scorching hot and bouncing off the pages. Justin is one hot sexy built musician and Amelia a teacher, he is hard to resist and this you will find out when you read this book. Oh lucky lucky Amelia, I fell in love with Justin almost instantly. He had the most amazing dry sense of humour and although there were times when I could have throttled him, there were times when I could also feel his pain. I laughed at his one liners, cheered them on and held my breathe when things got really tough. I took this journey with them and it was the best journey ever !!!This book had be smiling like a Cheshire cat most of the way through, half the time I didn't even realise I was even doing it. Ms Ward writes romance like no one else and you won't be disappointed with this book. An absolute joy to read, read in one sitting, I was addicted to this fantastic story. Not to be missed !!!!

Oh my, I'm truly in love with this story, from start to finish I found it difficult to put down, as always with a bloody good book I'm left wanting more.The story is perfect true love, estranged friends, enemies, lovers - a very special Nana and a Bea - u - tiful little girl.Twists and turns, Angst, Annoyance, fear, laughter, love, friendship all rolled into one book and I loved it.This is the first book I have read of Penelope Ward, due to the amount of recommendations this book received, I'm so glad I listened, this will definitely not be my last and I will sing her praises to anyone who listens.This book is definitely up there in my top 10 for the year and we are only in February X highly recommended and well deserved of the 5 stars

Penelope Ward does it again!Everytime i read a Penelope Ward book i just know my day would be gone. I physically can not put the books down. It's like i have super glue on my hand and kindle and the will power of a nat.Justin and Amelia are one couple that will seriously stay with my forever. They are just utter beautiful.Under weird circumstances they stay at the beach house together, even though tensions run high they stick with the place.The fact the book was in two parts blew me away! I felt like i was getting two books in one! Score!Penelope Ward you are seriously one talented lady and i would love to meet you one day! And it just cements the fact that i will literally read anything you write. Anything! Books, Facebook posts, shopping lists ;) I'm your girl 😂Amazing. Absolutely amazing.❤💋
