I wasn't sure what to expect and I choose the Mackerel with jalapeno because I typically put sriracha on sardines when I eat them anyway.While I don't think these will replace sardines for me, I was happy with the product. And I can certainly see myself including it in my diet. The jalapenos didn't really add any 'heat' to the fish, and the flavor of jalapeno was mild, but it was there.I really, really, really liked the easy opening can. No oil splashed on myself or my counter!

I like these the best of the sardines I have tried... no I'm not the biggest sardine fan lol.if these weren't so expensive I would buy a stash for emergencies and snacking

Great tasting tinned mackeral. Easy open top so no sharp metal. For the price, I would put this as one of the better(if not the best) brands in flavor, value, and convenience. It's a great pantry item also.

The quality of the fish was good. But I didn't care for the sweet and only slightly spicy flavor the jalapeno and olive oil left.

I usually like plain the best, Then lemon was my favorite, now Jalapeno is at the top. Its subtle and not hot, and its oily yet not overly. Perfect. I switch between this and Sardines. I think we need both values that each has to offer.
