Q: This is confusing, it says "Anti static" strap with "conductive" fingers. Why would you want electric conductive finger tips on an anti static gloves?

The point behind esd peripherals is to be conductive. This is a very high resistance though so it allows an electric field to dissipate instead of building up. For you to see a spark, static electricity has to be upwards of 10,000 volts. The problem is, we are constantly generating static fields as we move. Many non conductive materials are bad news when working with electronics. Plastic, glass, balloons etc generate a lot of static. For this to work one has to get rid of these static generating materials from the work area and also be grounded. The high resistance conductive gloves will help with this but you need a wrist strap. These gloves are made for times when gloves are needed as any non conductive glove (fabric) would be bad. These aren't specifically made to interface with touch screens contrary to what others have said. The resistance of this material is at least 1MΩ. That's one million ohms. The conductive gloves for displays are more optimized for that. Where I work the floor is conductive and grounded and we hook a wrist strap to a grounded plug. You don't need all that but a strap and maybe some esd gloves (touching electronics with bare hands leaves prints and on things like cpus could damage them. That's where the gloves come in. Nitrile gloves work too but your hands will sweat like crazy.

Q: Looking to remove static while printing a film/plastic kind of material. Will these help eliminate static or just repel it?

Sorry, only used with metal products with excellent results. Never tried plastic. Guaranteed no static electricity.

Q: Are the fingers on the gloves anti static or the whole glove ?

I don't know. I just assume the whole glove is anti static.

With fingers together the width across palm and inside thumb is about 3.5 inches. Length from wrist to middle finger tip 8.5". Will L fit?
