Perfect pewter for casting

I received 2 ingots of 1 pound each. I melted them into a bucket of water to produce little pellets and this is perfect for casting small things from a stainless steel spoon.

Turned yellowish as soon as it is exposed to air Very poor flow Tried lots of different temperatures, either stays "granulated" or "burns" Lots of impurities Not my first project with Pewter, bought from another supplier to do my project, this one is useless.

My son used this for a school project. He is making a pretty handle for a walking stick. Product melted evenly and looks great.
