Meaty Bone Medium Dog Snacks, 64-Ounce

I don't know why my dog doesn't seem to really like these, I thought he would and for some reason it makes me mad cuz they smell better and look better than all those other treats, okay this may be gross but I went so far as to kind of taste one a little bit and they didn't taste bad at all but for some reason he has never liked any kind of hard dog bones, unless it's a real bone or rawhide and I don't understand why. These smell so good and he likes the stinky ones. I want him to like these so bad, I don't know why but I just do. I mean he ate one but barely and slowly. I even broke some up and put in his food and he did eat them but he doesn't seem to prefer them at all. It just bugs me because I don't understand why. I would eat them if I was a dog. He just has never liked any kinds of bones like this, even other brands and I have no clue why because I wish he did because you can buy a GIANT bag of these for like six bucks and that would save me alot of money. He loves to chew on rawhide bones of any kind so why wouldn't he like these.

My German Shepherd loves Meaty Bones, I keep them on top of my refrigerator and she'll sit there in between the space that separates my dining room from my kitchen and sit there and just constantly look up at the meaty bones asking for one like five times a day if not more but she only gets two a day and they are the bones for large dogs. They are the best around, plus Milk Bones can you give your dog diarrhea if you feed them more than two bones a day and sometimes even less than that. I learned that from my past dogs that I had before I got this one, also my vet told me about the problem with Milk Bones feeding them just a couple of Bones to a dog. That is why I and her prefer meaty bones , over Milk Bones.

WOW!!!! This box is HUGE! The bones are medium length but about a half inch or so thick but they're also wide. I have a small old dog and a Husky. Usually my little one is choosey. She likes to guard or bury hers in a blanket or something. Then the Husky steals it when she turns her back so she comes back for another. That's a good sign. She does eat them eventually if she remembers where she hid them before it's gone. Also a good sign. These are not only well worth the money for the size and amount, but for the taste. They are plenty big enough for my Husky not to need two lol! This box has lasted quite a while for them, they get 1-6 a day total depending on the kleptomania.

Usually we buy canine cuts meat bones, so naturally I assumed rex would love these! For whatever reason, he's not a fan🥴 he comes running and sits for his treat, then sniffs it and reluctantly grabs it's or sometimes just runs off.. I dont know what his "beef" is with the these?? I guess this will be sadly the last purchase 🥴🥴

I have always bought these for my dogs and they have always loved them and I have had a lot of dogs. They have never had any recalls or issues. It is ashamed they let another company take them over just to discontinue them so they can push their crappy products.

I had to consult with my dog, Shelly, about this product. She is an Australian Shepherd and, in full disclosure, Aussies love food so Shelly isn't too fussy about her treats. However, she told me that she really loves Meaty Bone because of its flavor. She said that while they are firm, they aren't too hard to chew (especially for older dogs) and yet they provide a delicious way for her to keep her teeth clean. Every morning, after her daily brushing, she looks forward to her Meaty Bone treat. As for my observations, I notice that Shelly prefers these over Milk Bone. However, she told me that Milk Bone is still pretty good and she still enjoys them too. Like I said, Aussies simply love food and adapt to pretty much whatever you give them. Personally, I like the look of Meaty Bone. I did not find them on my local grocery shelves which is why I bought them on Amazon. Amazon is a great site for pet products and I love the fact that they give consumers a large variety of choices. Thanks, Amazon, from Shelly, Star (my kitten) and me.
