Truly a wonderful book!
I loved this book! I highly recommend this book as a year of study for anyone looking to add to their practice. This book is well written and easy to understand. There are lots of detail for the new practioner so that everything is clearly laid out, as well as new ways of practicing for those with more experience. I'm looking forward to her future books and am enjoying her classes on this book as well. Cannot recommend this book highly enough. Thank you HM for writing such a wonderful book and for sharing your ideas.

Excellent for beginners and advanced practitioners, and also those who are just curious
Beautifully written book that takes you on a journey of witchcraft answering questions you never knew you had. It is an excellent book for beginners and advanced practitioners. The valuable information of the elements and how to use them is weaved with the perfect ratio of humor and deference. The author explains the history and science of witchcraft while also offering a modern viewpoint. With all the meditations, rituals, exercises, etc; I feel this is a book that one could read many times and always get something new from it. Elemental Witchcraft is my new go-to book in my magical library. Thank you Heron Michelle for this valuable work.

A perfect example of educational resources
I wish that I knew about Heron prior to ordering this book. Her brilliance, hard work, and detailed information are a priceless addition for any modern practitioner. The section on Hermetic Foundations is well researched and astounding! Never has such historically dry material been as accessible as in this book.I am grateful for making the purchase and cannot rave enough about the content within these pages. Everyone will gain something from reading this. Whether it is our history, unique practices, or verifiable gnosis; it is a game changer for Pagans.

Frustrated & Annoyed
This arrived today. I started reading it and I was instantly annoyed. Yes, it's a "beginners" book to the Craft. But, it's a little over-detailed. Being a witch for about 17 Years now, I've become accustomed to what my Path entails. All of these "new names" for things are not for me. If so eone had read this book and practiced this way and then we conversed, there would be conflict of interest just because of the names and/or labels for things. And it's a very drawn out book and explains things too detailed in my opinion. Maybe I'm biased because of all of my learning over the years and want things to be quick-learning. I wanted to give myself a refresher because I feel bored with my Practice. Maybe I just chose the wrong book. This just isn't for me in any way, shape or form.

An in-depth, refreshingly modern, insightful system of witchcraft
I love how detailed this book is--it goes deep into several of the historical foundations of witchcraft with a modern take that is quite refreshing. I've learned a lot from those early chapters. Heron writes with a sense of humor that's refreshing, which breaks up the intellectual parts. She presents an innovative structure/system which was built upon the foundations laid by others. This book includes what many older systematic witchcraft books omit--inclusive feminist philosophy, archaeology, and perspective, all of which advocate for both cooperation and the transcendence of dualities.

An instant classic
This will be the book I recommend to new witches from now on. This book, however, is not just for beginners. Even people who have been practicing for years will learn new ways of approaching the craft (if they’re open to it).Heron Michelle gives us solid theory, philosophy, and praxis in an easily accessible way. Everything is explained thoroughly and thoughtfully. Also, everything is easily adaptable for those wanting to personalize the pracrice.Go beyond just “marking the holidays” or “observing the full moons”. The Pentacle Path puts those auspicious days into context so you can work with them as part of your magical game plan. You’ll learn why those auspicious days and times matter.I let this book sit in my wish list for months, not sure if it was worth the purchase. I finally decided to give it a shot and I’m glad I did. If you’re reading this trying to decide if this book is for you, I encourage you to give it a chance and begin your Great Work.

An excellent source of beginner material for the occult.
There is much to be learned in the way of the occult and witchcraft. Heron does a wonderful job and combining all the little details and presenting them in a way that makes the material easily digestible. And the material is quite scrumptious.Overall, a fabulous introduction.
