I was upset that the hair pieces were mushed & unusable, howerver I bought the kit for crochet & to add hair to my amigurumi figures, so I'm not all that mad. The hooks work beautifully and I love that it comes with multiple sizes of the latch hooks, definitely worth the money.

It works well for crocheting my dreadlocks, I prefer to use the 0.5mm one but it broke after 3 dreads making... And the 0.7mm one can't focus on that much details, too big for me to use it.I guess you get what you pay for...
