Quality, price, recommendable
I was really surprised by the quality of the wooden box. I was looking for a traditional dark wooden box, but never was satisfied with the content.I was looking for the art set suitable for the needs of the 8 year old artist, which are in between the needs of the little child and adult artist. So, I put aside all the boxes containing crayolas that are good for up to 5 year olds. She still likes color pencils and markers, needs oil pastels, paint, brushes and pencils for more serious drawing skills development.I was surprised by the markers already almost similar to mine professional ones, good pencils 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, some pensil tools usually used by professional graphic artists, good variation of colors for oil pastel and a little holder for them, different types of erasers, paint tablets ( not tubs, since the 8 yo still are not very careful with them, still not ready, so the paint tablets I consider the best for this age). So, I didn’t find anything she won’t use as it happens very frequently with the big sets variety. She will use each material and all additional tools will take her to the next level. And a high quality smooth wooden box, drawing and marker pads with the good quality 20 sheets each as a bonus.Yes, as an artist myself raising a little artist, I would recommend this art set as an intermediate in between kids’ set and adult set.
