The Best Earbuds I have ever used
I have been looking at Bang & Olufson sound equipment since I first read about them in the 70's. Back then They were out of my price range, but in the hi-end rooms they sounded very good. A few days ago I was looking to BUY something on Black Friday.. I came across the H-3 actually on sale. I am beyond pleased.I bought them. For Tech. Heads they just came in first in a Consumer study on earphones under $300.. Speakers and Head Phones have always been the heart of a good sound system..No matter how fancy The Gear your system will never sound better than your Speakers. I use the 65/45 plan when setting up systems 65% of cost Speakers 45% The rest. In Closing if you are looking for some good ear buds you found them.. Comfort I've had mine on 13 hours now, Range I have been running my music library through them, excellent separation, and a clean sound No Clutter or as Steely Dan put it No Static At All .

Utterly Disappointed
I've had my eye on these headphones for a while (And other B&O products), and had probably the worst experience I could have imagined. The first set was "refurbished", which apparently means repackaged in a giveaway box without checking for damage. The headphones didn't work. The second set was new, and the sound reproduction was spectacular. Unfortunately, it developed a crackling at the base of the plug. Returned. The third set was new, and immediately had issues with the crackling sound that the second one had. I do not recommend. Pros: Sound quality is absolutely outstanding. Even songs I'd listened to hundreds of times before had all the mix isolated and understandable. Very comfortable. Cons: Technical issues noted above. No clip?! Microphone is the worst in-line mike that I've ever used. Without question. Unusable for phone conferencing. Cord controls were chintzy. Verdict: If you'll treat these like fresh fruit and want high sound quality with no call ability, these headphones are for you. Otherwise, don't even think about getting these.

The h3's are much all around better for everyday listening
I had the hifi man re400 before these. The h3's are much all around better for everyday listening. The hifi man are sometimes a little too harsh in the high ends. The h3's also have much more bass. But not overwhelming. Much more fun to listen too. Sad thing is I go these when they were $200 but now the price has dropped $50! Get these you wont regret. The non tangle cable is so convenient too.

Some Clarity, But Distorted High Notes and Volume Problems
At first, II agreed with Dana Q. Wilson that the Bang and Olufsen H3 earbuds were superior to the Bose Sounds True. I was unsure. My first pair had almost no volume at my normal listening level. Amazon made it easy to return the item; and based on my sense of Bang and Olufsen's overall quality, I ordered another pair. The second pair worked well on one disc, but as I began to listen to others the same volume problem appeared, and the violins on a favorite Haydn quartet sounded shrill and tinny. I listen mostly to chamber music, small group jazz and folk music. My sense of the Bose earbuds was that they had bass distortion. When I listened to the same Haydn quartet, the sound was murky and blurred some of the instruments. When I listened through the H3's it was the highs that were distorted. It says on the box that the H3's are made for music listening, but I'm not convinced. Since I don't want Haydn to sound like either the Rolling Stones or a herd of cats, I have yet to find the best earbuds.

Choppy/Rattling bass?
They range is great, but i hear a rattling noise when I push some bass through it with the equalizer on my phone. For me personally, i need to use the bass booster because i need a bit more. And seeing that it can withstand 20Hz, i assumed it wouldn't need a push.

Do not buy - poor sound quality and broke after 6 months
Would not recommend. Would not buy again. I have had many different earphones and headphones over the years. This one was the worst one. The sound quality is bad for the price. The right earphone stopped working after 6 months. Would not but again.
