Does everything the mat was intended for - but not made to last for more than 4 months
Always loved the MICRODRY foam bath mats- never had a problem, but for this case, seems like they used newer materials - particularly on the rubber gripping underneath. After a few months, the rubber gripping started shedding apart leaving residue and rubberized shredded materials all over my bathroom floor which was a pain to vacuum, mop, and clean off the floor. The longevity of the bathmat is not what it used to be, and that's really a shame , hence the lower rating. Please be AWARE before purchasing, MICRODRY isn't what it used to be anymore.
