the Shurtape DC-181 UL 181B-FX Listed Film Tape: 2 in. x 120 yds. (Metalized Silver with Black Printing) works fine but I would have preferred a wider tape it just wasn't available through Amazon.

This is the stuff I like to use in the attic on foil faced insulation to tape the seams. It is not easy to find anywhere else.

If you are doing any AC / duct and don't want to use mastic, this stuff is an awesome option. 1 roll and I was able to seal the inside of my house from the attic. And seal up the air handler in the attic that was sucking in attic and blowing it into my house. Worth the money and hard to find elsewhere.

good and no problems.

unusable garbage. big patches of adhesive separate from the clear plastic outer layer of the tape and remain stuck on the layer beneath it in the roll. See photo. Tape was kept at room temperature, out of the sun etc-- I have no idea why it was like this. I threw it away.

Tape works great !! Ive been in the HVAC business for 15 years and this tape stays adhered forever. This is the thin almost transparent kind, which is what you want for duct work or insulation. The thick foil like tape has no longevity and falls off over time, I learned this the hard expensive way by being called back to jobs only months later to replace it with this style.

just what I needed.

Have used this tape for some time. Stays put even in extreme cold and not affected by the weather. Works best for foil sided insulation board for sealing the seams and blends right in. great product,
