Khaki M1 Carbine Buttstock Type Pouch Marked JT&L 1942

I meant to purchase the 1943 dated pouch to match my 1943 Underwood. This ammo pouch is top quality, It looks identical to my original WWII issued pouch that I am unable to use due to age. The craftmanship is superb.

I don't know why people are complaining about these not fitting on the stock or holding magazines . I've got two original fully loaded 15 magazines in mine and it closes fine, if a little tight. But I think that should be expected since this pouch was never meant to go on the stock. This went on just as advertised and took maybe 5 minutes even with having to take the action out. Ok, maybe it took me 6 minutes because I was cussing about the front fitting not wanting to slide off and then I realized I still had sling attached. Supper duh. I also watched the video on the website and it was quite interesting. I didn't realize these were never meant to go on the stock. The snap, which I covered with some tape btw is meant to hold it in place on the 1936 web belt. So it is something the GIs jury rigged because it just worked better.

The replica is excellent and I greatly enjoy mine. Highly recomended. I have bought several things from this company and been very pleased with all of them.

I used these pouches in my Marine Corps Peleliu impression, and these pouches are perfect for my kit, they match OD#3 so well its unbelievable. These fit Carbine mags perfectly and it lasts a very long while, I highly suggest!

It just does not fit with or without the mags. You can put it on your belt but not on your m1 carbine! Just no way!

very nicely made. washed it a number of times with some jeans to make it look older than it was. accepts two 15-round mags and fit the Underwood great.
