YakimaT-Axle Fork Adapter

I wasn't so sure how well this would work based on the reviews, especially those that are saying to flops back and forth. After using it once, I've come to the conclusion these folks are not using it properly. And I don't usually leave reviews, but I've been super happy with this (and the bike), so much so that I was inspired to leave my feedbackThis works very well and is actually about as easy as a quick-release type fork mount. I have older Thule Prologue fork mount bike trays that wouldn't work with my new road bike with a thru axle hub. Using this is easy -- I've just locked it in place in my fork mount, facing forward. It's clear that it needs to face forward (and not upright) because of the orientation of the Yakima logo. Locking it in horizontally prevents any movement . Next step is to take the wheel off (easy), and place the bike in the rack. This is easier than I was expecting because the bike has a recess for the wheel hub, or in this case the fork mount adapter. Then just pop the thru axle in and tighten down with your hex wrench and strap the rear wheel. Easy as that.The bike is stable and gets me to my trailhead just fine. I wouldn't hesitate to take this on a long distance or highway speeds. ONLY potential issue is that the bike is NOT locked to the car -- only the fork mount adapter is locked to the car. So don't leave your bike in a sketchy place on the car without a cable lock or something attaching it to the roof rails.Would absolutely recommend and buy again for my other bike tray if I get another thru axle bike.

You bought a fancy new bike with disc brakes and a thru-axle. Your bike rack only works with quick release axles. This fills the gap. Sturdy, holds bike firmly in place, and stupid easy to use.

車載時に使えますが、私のロードではフォークとの取付部分が回ってしまいます。まぁそれでも固定はできてます。

This worked well with my Thule bike rack. My only objection is the price. I found a Bike Hand adapter at half the price on Amazon which would have worked fine, too.
