Nice awning
This is a nice awning. We have it over a southwest facing window in Southern California. It survived nearly five years. Last year I had to tape a few rips with duct tape. Today some winds tore it to threads. I think a five year life is pretty good. I ordered another one today. Unfortunately, I had to order the whole thing with the frame. It would be nice if you could just order the fabric since the frame is still in good shape. The stripes on the awning I got five years ago were horizontal. The stripes are vertical on the new one (May 2020). The awning is apparently retractable. I just keep it in the fixed down position, however. It is reasonably easy to install.

Flimsy vinyl awning
I did not even bother trying to put up this flimsy thing. In normal winds it would not have held up. Spindly frame and cheap vinyl covering.

Poles are incorrectly sized
The bottom horizontal poles turned out to be too long, so the awning material, being less wide, gets warped out of shape when you try to fit it all in. Possibly, the material shrunk after being in the warehouse too long. Now, one could theoretically saw the aluminum poles to the correct size, then cut new screw threads on them as I did, and then fit them in. But after having paid good money for the awning, should one really have to do that?

Made in the shade!
This awning was very easy to assemble & the aluminum rods are much better & thicker material than expected. The awning cloth was also heavier & more durable than had been expected. The installation instruction are complete & easy to follow. All of the anchors & screws are good quality & easy to install. As far as how well the awningvholds up to the hot sun is yet to be determined but I give this 2 thumbs up!!

Stripes in wrong position
Nice item for the price. Easy to assemble but stripes show vertical on the picture but came horizontal. There is another review with same comment. Not sure why the seller doesn't fix this issue.

Great product
Love this product! Easy to assemble and to mount to the house. Already feel a big difference in temperature in the house!
