I Cani: Il Meneghello Hardcover – October 1, 2002

As a Tarot Card reader I strive to please my clientel. Many Dog Pals use my services, and for a while I have been looking for a Dog Deck but far too often the available deks were too cute for my taste. Then I found the I Cani: Il Mengehello Deck. Though limited to the Major Arcana, and palm sized, the drawings and Interpretation of traditional Tarot Symbolism are superb. The images are done in stark black on yellow parchment paper, and though a bit hard to shuffle they are well worth the effort. The deck truly pleases those who befriend cannines and is an essential for the serious Tarot reader. A note about the artist, his feel for dogs is uncanny and his selection of dogs for the various cards in 'spot' on. This deck will delight and amaze.

These 22 Major Arcana cards of the tarot are delightfully designed with different canine breeds in a miniature size. The cardstock is typical of Il Meneghello cards and more of a collector's deck as opposed to a working deck, although I am sure that they would work for those who connected with them. I love them for their beauty and whimsy!

I just bought this card deck, although small and a little thick when you shuffle. Took me a while to reconize the drawings on this card deck from other Tarot cards I have. Also the cards are numbered using 1,2, 3, 4 and so on instead of Roman numerals. No court cards or pipe, which is ok. I still like them.

These little cards are classy and interesting. Anyone interested in tarot cards and animals will love these! Hard to find usually, and yet fast easy delivery. Recommended Vendor!

I would have liked this deck more if there was moreinformation with the deck, I didn't mind that it wasjust the Major Arcana as I am thankful there's a doggiedeck available but I do wish there was more in the lineof definitions of the cards...

Lovely, dinky little cardboard/papery tarot deck. I bought these for the novelty value , plus it has my favourite breed of all time on one of the cards. I don't think I will ever use them in a reading as they are a little too small and would become damaged if they're used too much. They come presented in a little book which ties with a ribbon. They are also a limited edition which comes with the decks pack number on a little certificate. Nice for keeping as a family heirloom and to look at from time to time. Be aware though - deck only comes with the major arcana if you do want to use them in readings. Oh, and make sure you either a) know Italian or b) know the names of the major arcana, at the card names are in Italian.
