Does trowel have flex to it?

Yes. Its a very high quality trowel. I wrote a review on it a few months back. You can easily blend / feather your edges.

Is this trowel also good for feathering as well?

Yes, both edges flex really well and easy, feathering a seam is no problem

how does this compare to a curry trowel, can't seem to find them?

I have never used a Curry trowel, but this trowel is fantastic. I have used it for overhead work on ceilings, and, of course, drywall. Very comfortable and am able to apply a great deal of mud in a short period of time.
