Good fit

Clips are fine. Screws are trash. Either they break off or the slots spin out before they get into the wood.

The clips when placed properly hold the Trex material just fine but the poor metal quality of the screws makes them just about useless. They strip out if you breath on them wrong. The seller should supply Torx head screws to eliminate the problem. As it is that's what I am using.

Using these to install composite deck

Realized halfway through my project that I'd need some clips. These were the ones that I was able to get the quickest. Having read the reviews I dialed back the clutch on my drill a bit and they all went in with no problems. I can see the screws failing if you attack them with a 20v drill. If that's a concern you can just replace them with the ones you buy at the hardware stores that everyone seems to have boxes of.Would certainly order again.

These seemed to be off good quality. The opening where the deck board is supposed to wedge into ended up being too wide for my AZEK decking (apparently, the groove is wider than many other brands). I thought I might be able to force this opening to close up a bit and just use them but they are off a very sturdy construction and I couldn't bend one easily. I ended up returning them for this reason but would have happily used them if they had for. The seller I got mine from - John1608 - was great to work with and processed my refund as soon as the return tracking listed it as having been dropped at UPS. Would definitely buy from this seller again.

Plastic box came as shown in photo. Was opened. Clips were on bottom of shipment bag. No screws were included that was suppose to come with clips. There was a small plastic bag, also shown in photo, opened but empty which is where I think screws were supposed to be in. We did reveive the screw bit.

Clips seemed more consistent than Trex original but screws were subpar. Of the 24 I used, 2 had the heads strip out and one even had the head twist off. Would have preferred the hex head screws.
