Don Bruno Crostini, Sea Salt & Rosemary, 7 Ounce (Pack of 6)

I had found some Meliora Rosemary crostini at Big Lots which were yummy so when they ran out I came here looking. No Meliora but these Don Bruno's had the same ingredients so figured they would be similar. Not so. These are dry & dusty and taste nothing of rosemary. Won't be buying again.

I was not a fan of these. Was hoping for something of similar quality to Trader Joe's discontinued crostini's; however these fell far short. Bland flavor with not much crisp to them.

Great flavor and texture.

Crackers were correct however many were broken when received.

These crackers are not too salty and provide a bit of background herb flavor that will compliment almost any topping you choose to add. They are great for dipping or loading on a small bit of almost anything because they are substantial and will not break under some weight. Considering it as a munching snack on its own, I think there are better crackers out there. These are meant for toppings. While they are crispy, they are definitely not light and crispy, and a few go a long way.In comparison to some familiar brands of crackers: They are denser than a Ritz cracker, thicker than a Wheat Thin, thinner than a Rye Crisp.There are different sizes in the bag: 1 1/4" wide by 1 1/4" to 1 3/4" long. So I'm not sure how they come up with "50 calories per 5 crackers", but that is what it says on the packaging. There are about 65 various-sized crackers in a bag. It is the same calorie-count as the Zesty Tomato flavor.Putting this rosemary-flavored cracker on the same platter as the tomato flavor makes a very nice color contrast. Plus. you can see the little pieces of rosemary distributed nicely through the cracker.I originally picked these up at a high-brow gourmet/liquor store while preparing for a party. If you can't get to a specialty grocery store or don't mind a slight extra charge for convenience sake, these are a decent buy here on Amazon. They stayed crisp and flavorful past the expiration date, too.
